We have 4 that all use the exterior antenna.** A: This would depend upon the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) at the coax from the antenna. You should check 1st to see if you get sufficient SNR going straight from antenna into 1 TV. Typically RF splitters for coax (1 in & 2 out) have 3.5dB loss per split. So, for 4 TVs you would have roughly 7dB of signal power loss and the amplifier would need to have enough gain to make up got the loss due to splits. Above amplifier has 24dB gain so it more than makes up for the 7dB loss. Depending upon your TV's input dynamic range, you might even need to turn the gain down so as not to saturate. It is best to put the amplifier near the antenna in the signal path and before any splitter. An old set of rabbit ears will do.
