My cat had used this product for about three years, I switched to the Hartz collar but if the fleas get very bad I may go back to Soresto, only because he was OK with it before. The Hartz seems to be working now, I comb my Cat daily, and I have found one young tick so far. They ALL say not to use their collar on young cats. I have never seen a cat with mosquitos, I have had cats since 1960. **Q: Isn’t this the collar that’s killed around 1,700 pets in the last few years?** A: Out of over 25 million callars sold? Isn't that something like 0.007%? Flea and tick infestations also kill pets. I tried several other methods before buying Seresto again (I had used them in other pets but money was tight). None of them worked very well at all. Diatomaceous earth does a good job of destroying fleas and eggs in carpets and furniture but it is too irritating to put it directly on an animal's fur and skin. I gave up on eating out for a month and bought a Soresto collar and I was able to put the flea combs away for good. **Q: What country was this collar made in?** A: Germany. Beware of cheaper ones made in China. **Q: Does it fit any size cat?** A: Wouldn't recommend it for a tiger, but I believe it will fit almost any cat.. It fit my 4 month old kitten . He is now a 13 pound tomcat and is still wearing it. It is adjustable.
