Size:Тwо Расk The Eagle Water Pump Suction & Discharge Hose Kits are designed to work with water/trash pumps. Eagle Pump Hose Kits offer everything necessary to use your pump, including: suction hose, discharge hose, strainer, & any couplers or adaptors required. Hose assemblies come in two general types: pin lug and Cam & Groove. The essential difference is how they connect to the pump. Pin lug hoses are threaded onto the pump, much like a garden hose. Cam & Groove hoses use a "quick connect" system that locks on to the pump. Couplers and adaptors are used to connect the hose to either a pump or another hose and include: Cam & Groove, Water Shanks, Strainers, Elbows, Nipples, and more. Couplers and adaptors come in a variety of materials, including: Aluminum, Brass, Polypropylene, Steel, and more. Eagle Pump Hose Kits provide World Class Solutions to every agricultural application for the transfer of air, water, liquid fertilizer, fuel, and high pressure hydraulics. Hose and fittings to complete any job that may arise.

do not buy, do your research
Was not impressed with the fact that i bought this to use for taking water from ibc tank to storage tank. The screen does not fit into top of tank.....and the plastic one that came with pump didnt last one use due to the fact it does not fit hose.....smh. the blue hose is not one i would trust in an emergency....im 100% sure it would fail or burst when least desired. And none of the fittings are of normal standards. So in the end i had to cut the only piece worthy of being used (green intake hose) cut it in half, went to store to get good fittings which i cant use at this moment but will be needed later and was finally able to use....all in all i spent $100 on one hose. The rest is garbage i threw away since no chance of return.

Is ABSOLUTELY NOT 2" NPT threads. But the suction hose is nice.
Many people have talked about the discharge hose, it's fine for simply running water though, but don't try to move it, use it for pressure, or try to direct the flow manually. Get a real fire hose for that. The suction hose is great. It's beefy, it has good connectors, nothing bad I can say about it. But my problem came from the answer section of this item. When asked if the threading was 2 inch NPT, the answer shows an affirmative. I bought this, I bought my PVC, glued it up and went to use it but could not. Apparently this is an npsh thread. The female side attaches to a male npt, but the male side will not attach to a female npt without stripping the adapter. So now I sit, two 5 gallon buckets in hand ready to make 60 trips up a hill from the river (that's 120 buckets at 40 pounds per bucket by the way) and pour each into tree bags. Not super excited at this moment.

Discharge hose isn't great.
Ran these hoses for the first time today. The green suction hose is okay. The blue discharge hose got a hole in it and leaks at the clamps. Not durable like I need. Especially in a emergency fire scenario which is the reason I bought this.

... YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR BUT THIS IS PRETTY BAD THE THREADS ON THE END OF THE HOSE ...
REALLY REALLY CHEAP I KNOW YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR BUT THIS IS PRETTY BAD THE THREADS ON THE END OF THE HOSE WON'T EVEN THREAD ON THE STRAINER. I WOULD RETURN IT BUT I NEEDED THE HOSE FOR WORK AND HAD TO CUT OFF THE ENDS AND REPLACE THEM. WILL NOT BUY AGAIN.

Drainage hose burst after less than 10 runs
The suction hose and filter are good quality. The drainage hose however is crap. It should never explode after a few applications with the pump. I don't recommend this product unless the seller provided a longer warranty for replacement.

Discharge hose could be better
The suction, or intake, hose is quality as is the filter attachment, but the flexible PVC hose I received was really cheap and split at the elbow within 3 hours of use. I cut it off with a grinder and put more hose clamps on it, but it wasted valuable time. I've used goodyear and other quality hoses in the past that are much better than this one.

Heavy Duty
I bought these with a trash pump to drain some ruts left over from logging trees on my land. I also purchased a 2" nozzle so I can use it to suppress a fire if needed. although the output line is not heavy duty compared to a standard fire hose, it should do fine for what I need. The suction hose is very heavy duty and should last for years. The metal trash strainer works great.

These hoses really suck (that’s good, you know)
Hooked these up to my Harbor Freight trash pump. Excellent results. Incredible throughput. I expect them to last a long time.
