Could not get seeds to grow with these sponges.
I have a Vegebox hydroponic garden and needed sponges to for seed starting. These were no good. They never really soaked up the water so they floated on top, resulting in a lack of water on the seeds. I’ve tried twice now, with multiple different seeds and have not been able to get anything to start growing. Very disappointed and looking for something else now.

Green Slime appears
I would not recommend this product. A dark green Slime grows on top while inhibiting the seeds from growing.
