I brought home a seedling with a mild infestation of fungus gnats. For the first week I would see one or two fly around and I’d kill them, but eventually the infestation worsened. I ended up placing the infected plant outdoors, as I primarily grow indoors, for two weeks and let the soil dry out between waterings. That caused most of the adult gnats to disperse. Upon returning the plant indoors, I doused it with the prepared nematode solution using 1/2 of the solute to 1/2 gallon of water. I treated all other house plants as a preventative measure. During the first week, I noticed one adult fly that I subsequently caught and killed. Week two I applied another treatment. So far, I haven’t noticed any fungus gnats anywhere, this has been quite a success.
