Review: Wooden Crane! - My son asked for a crane for Christmas, but most of the sets I was finding were plastic and seemed really cheaply made. When I found this wooden set I was so excited! I’m not sure of another wooden Crane that exists. It is a beautiful wooden Crane with a sturdy plastic cab window. It has knobs to control the hook and a platform for loading things on to. It swings around in a complete circle. My son loves to put lego guys in the cab. I have read reviews about it coming apart or not being sturdy and while we haven’t really had that problem in the 4 months we have had it, I can see how rougher play might make that happen. The Crane does come off its base and my son does take it apart on purpose sometimes. And after awhile it sometimes looses and needs to be tightened, but it doesn’t bother me and it doesn’t do it often. Even with this slight issue it still seems sturdy to me and more so than the plastic sets I’ve seen. My son really loves his Crane and he makes whole construction sites around it. It’s also so cute and looks great displayed in his room. Hope this helps!
