Hape Playscapes Crane Lift Playset| Construction Truck Vehicle Playset for Kids

My son asked for a crane for Christmas, but most of the sets I was finding were plastic and seemed really cheaply made. When I found this wooden set I was so excited! I’m not sure of another wooden Crane that exists. It is a beautiful wooden Crane with a sturdy plastic cab window. It has knobs to control the hook and a platform for loading things on to. It swings around in a complete circle. My son loves to put lego guys in the cab. I have read reviews about it coming apart or not being sturdy and while we haven’t really had that problem in the 4 months we have had it, I can see how rougher play might make that happen. The Crane does come off its base and my son does take it apart on purpose sometimes. And after awhile it sometimes looses and needs to be tightened, but it doesn’t bother me and it doesn’t do it often. Even with this slight issue it still seems sturdy to me and more so than the plastic sets I’ve seen. My son really loves his Crane and he makes whole construction sites around it. It’s also so cute and looks great displayed in his room. Hope this helps!

Our 2 year old grandson loves paying with this. Easy to put together, and seems very sturdy and well made.

We bought this for my son's 3rd birthday and it was a huge hit. He loves to hook the crane onto other toys and try to lift them up and "rescue" them. It's really easy for him to turn the knobs and move it around. He typically plays with it on the floor, but it's also a good table toy (as long as he doesn't tip it over). I worry about the strings breaking on the pulleys, but so far they seem to be able to handle the play he puts into it. It appears to be well made and is far better than the cheap plastic toys he has.

My son keeps busy with this toy for hours. You're able to reel the crane up and down manually. It's really cute, and it's great at stimulating his imagination. I took off two stars because it's poorly built. There's two plastic prongs that keeps it together. The plastic prongs were worn out within the first week. So the crane truck tips over easily.

This is a great quality toy and everything is operational. I and my son love it.

This thing is fantastic. Worth the money in my opinion. My kids (3 and 1yo) really terrorize it and put it through the wringer, but it still stands. The"cables" are strong and haven't broken yet. My older son hooks this to everything and then tries to pull it around (I know, that's not really the intended idea); from truck toys, furniture, to his little brother. While I don't recommend hooking it to other children, I do recommend this for your little construction fanatic.

Questa gru è fantastica!! Come molti bambini, mio figlio di quasi tre anni è ossessionato da tutto ciò che riguarda il cantiere, e in particolare le gru. Aveva una piccolissima, arrivata con un altro gioco e ho visto quanto ci giocava, quindi mi sono messa alla ricerca di una grande. Questa gru è grandissima ed è fatta molto bene. Mi piace molto che sia in legno e non plastica ed è molto resistente agli urti e movimenti maneschi di un bimbo piccolo. È caduta non so quante volte e ha sollevato veramente la qualsiasi cosa. È vero, così come ho letto in altre recensioni, la cabina si stacca abbastanza facilmente ma nonostante questo lo consiglio comunque. Pazienza, arriva il bimbo che urla mammmaaaa e so già che lo devo rimettere al suo posto. Tra poco imparerà e rimetterlo lui stesso sicuramente. E devo dire che sta iniziando a capire che succede più spesso quando cerca di sollevare cose troppo pesanti. Comunque, se siete alla ricerca di una gru per bambini questa la consiglio senz'altro! Rimpiango di non aver fatto una foto di quando l'ha visto per la prima volta...senza prezzo!

Bought for my 5 year old great nephew who loves it as do the adults! Looks great, works well, made of sustainable wood so will last a long time but not forever like plastic toys. I try to buy wood and metal toys where I can and this one made me happy as well as the child it was gifted to and his eco aware parents. It was the biggest hit of his Christmas along with the beautiful dumper truck by the same company. I took it them other out the box and had a little play myself before wrapping. Lovely strong, simple but beautifully made toys.

Perfect size, very sturdy. Great gift for a toddler. Definitely worth it.
