Awesome mic
Nothing to dislike here. Sound performance is super accurate and the mic quality is sturdy. It’s made in Germany too. Worth the money!

Great physical design, weak output.
This mic has me perplexed. I LOVE the clip design and mic design overall, almost zero handling noise, but it's got a pretty week signal. Actually, too weak to use in the particular scenario I was hoping for. I couldn't gain it up high enough to match the signal level of other devices, which was the whole point of trying this mic.

Works great on my accordion
Solved the problem: I never looked back. Fortunately, it's a small instrument, and I only need amplification on the treble side. No feedback problems.Update: mine crapped out after five years, and Sennheiser honored the 10-year (!) warranty by shipping a new one, no questions asked. And yes, the clip is poorly designed and difficult to operate with one hand.

Great horn mike. Still wired. Someday I'll get wireless. Maybe for my 60th when I'm a real rocker.

Good for bodhran.
Bought it to mic a bodhran. Compared it directly with the Sennheiser e904 and this mic was surprisingly better at picking up the tonal changes of the drum. Clip is odd but very secure and the mic is very light. It is quiet however and the gain needs to be nearly maxed to achieve a balanced gain mix on my setup. One of the few small, clip on dynamic mics on the market, so if you’re instrument creates a lot of sound pressure (like a drum), then this may be for you.
