Q: What is the pitch of the sprocket? What size chain would be compatible to this chainring set?

The pitch is the standard 1/2 inch (12.7mm) used on most modern bikes.

Q: Will this work w 7 speed rear cassette on a haro flightline 24” wheel 21 speed youth MTB

Should work with anything up to a 9 speed chain if bike has standard 68/73mm square taper bottom bracket. You can can always go down in cassette speeds on crankset rating, just can’t go over without changing chainrings. Just make sure you are using proper chain for your cassette which in this case sounds like a 3/32”. As previous responder says check your spindle length. If it isn’t 113mm you may need to add a new bottom bracket such as Shimano UN-26. It helps to have a digital caliper to check bottom bracket/spindle size. If not you can use a ruler and use 25.4mm to an inch conversion.

I took off the triple rings and replaced with a single, 1x ring when I got it. So I personally did not use it as a triple. But typically, a 9-speed compatible triple crankset will work with a 5/6/7 or 8-speed chain. Hopefully this helps.
