This unit is just what it claims to be. A truly isolated multi-power distribution unit for musicians to attach to a pedalboard. I began using it right away and it has run for hours withot any problems like overheating or noise problems. In fact, it will stay on my board full-time now! JOYO products are good quality and seen on stages the world over. Thank You

I am super impressed with the quality of this power supply. It delivers clean power to my bass pedalboard and powers my Shure Wireless, Peterson VS-S2 Strobostomp, Boss distortion, chorus, flanger, and MXR envelope filter.

I am using this to power 7 devices (3 Keeley pedals, an MXR, a TC, a tuner and a wah). It replaced two daisy chains. The daisy chains had some noise depending on what was plugged in. It is going into a high gain EVH amp. I am getting absolutely no noise with this power supply. Caveats: All these pedals draw less than 100ma. The amp and power supply are plugged into a high quality Furman power strip. I did not want to spend $150-200 for a power supply so I gave this a shot. It is fine. If I was Steve Vai I would have bought Voodoo Labs. Sadly, I am not Steve Vai. There is a lot of misinformation about “isolated” power supplies. Some of this misinformation is from vendors and some is from reviews. “Isolated” means each output is galvanically isolated by having its own transformer or capacitor or some other component. This means more parts and more cost. The only reason you might need it for pedals is to reduce noise. I am getting no noise with this Joyo box. So, I don’t need that level of isolation. Some of these reviews say things like the lack of a 3 pronged outlet is bad. That is nonsense. The Joyo box is worth a shot if you want to spend $50 not $200.

I have bought Joyo's products before and they always seem to impress me. You always hear "you get what you pay for" which I fully agree with, but with Joyo I feel as if you get just a little bit more. Now, just so you have an idea of the type of musician/consumer I am, I am by no means a "budget buyer". I am a tone snob. I prefer buying Boutique, Class-A pedals, amps, and guitars. I have thousands and thousands of dollars invested into this but what can I say, I like trying out some more cheaply priced items from time to time. Now, I want to list some pros and cons but I also want to stress that this supply is about half the price of the industry standard "Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2 Plus". Pros: - Serious Heavy Duty Construction: This thing is a brick built with a full steel casing - Low Footprint Area: It won't take up that much room on or under your board at all - Isolated Channels: Helps reduce ground loop noise - Beautifully Bright Blue LED: Makes your board look great Cons: - Lower Quality Power Adapter: I would have liked to see a power cord for the unit that matched the rest of the construction - No Power Switch: I know few power supplies like this have on/off switches but I would really like to see one - All LED's Either On Or Off: There is a switch to turn the LED's on or off but I would like it if they only illuminated when a pedal was actually plugged in to that channel. Hands down it is not as nice as the Voodoo Lab but it sure is an awesome power supply and for the money you really can't beat it. Why not buy it for $88? You probably wont regret it, I didn't.

I'm a bass/guitar player and uses 1-4 pedals depending on gigs. My latest 9v adapter finally gave up on me. I've been eying on the more expensive ones like voodoo and other power bricks for a long time but couldn't get myself into buying due to high price. Then this JOYO came along, and man this baby so far exceeded my expectations. The power supply itself looks well built, black finish, tons of output and blue led lights with on/off switch which comes in handy when you're onstage ... its dark up there sometimes :) The power outs seemed stable and without noise, with no hiccups so far. She fills my needs and currently satisfies my boys, Boss TU2, Boss Overdrive, MXR M87 Bass Compressor, Bass Chorus and Tech 21 SansAmp Bass Driver DI. The package came with 9v connector wires so you're basically ready to go. However there are downsides. The A/C plugin wall wart which is just hideous. The adapter wire is flimsy and thin which is obviously the weak part of this whole product. The durability of the adapter is what basically pulls this baby down. Securing the wires permanently to the pedal board seems to help. I've had my pedals daisy chained before and by the time it gets to the end the level was significantly low. I don't care if this is isolated or not..but so far this girl has been good to me and my gigs had been awesome lately. She's had so far survived drops, kicks, spills, broken bottles and my temper.

Holy cow! I've had a PP2+ on my board for quite a while, as it's grown, I've run out of spots on the PP2+. I needed another power supply comparable to the PP2+, but really didn't want to spend the money on another PP2+. Seems silly to spend $320 on power alone. Anyways, I've owned some Joyo products in the past with mixed results and decided to give this a go. Showed up super quick, and in high quality, secure packaging. Plugged it up and it worked perfectly. No noise, no hum, no tone suck, couldn't even tell it was there. Exactly how a power supply should be. This isn't a glorified daisy chain, it's very clearly isolated. Whether it's "true isolation" or not, is not distinguishable to my trained, and extremely picky ear. There is no noticeable difference between my pp2+ and this Joyo. I love that it has a high output (500ma) to power my timeline, and a dedicated 18v out for my fulldrive 2. The lights are bright, and offer enough ambient light to help light the pedalboard on a dark stage. The only negative check mark, is that it uses a wall wart instead of the big thick chord like an amp or pp2+. It doesn't bother me since I plug this into the courtesy outlet on the PP2+, but if it was my only power supply it might be bad news.

I purchased a pair of these JOYO Power Supplies (JP-02). Initially, I was pleased with the quality and the performance of this power supply. Since it was replacing my One Spot with a daisy chain, this seemed to be an upgrade. I was most attracted to the price and the high review on Amazon. However, there are a few things that I learned about this item that you should know before you buy. First of all, this power supply does NOT have isolated outputs. At the time that I bought mine, the heading of this page on Amazon read "Isolated." Now that wording is missing, however, it is still printed on the box. How do I know it isn't isolated? Well, any power supply (I later learned) that has a "wall wart" is NOT ISOLATED. In other words, the units that ARE isolated have separate transformers inside the unit and on each output. The fact that this does not have isolated outputs means that it is NO BETTER THAN A DAISY CHAIN. Once I had this realization, I decided to send them back for a refund. I then dove into research on several makes and models of other power supplies. Right off the bat I was reading several great things about the Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2+. It was as if THIS was THE pedal power supply to buy. But I was turned off by it for two reasons... First, it only supplies 9v power!! No 12v? No 18v? I have a Fulltone Fulldrive Mosfet that really has different characteristics at all three of these voltages. A MUST for a lot of pedalboards. Second, the maximum mA output on the highest outputs was only 250mA. Good luck trying to power up your Strymon pedals with that. So I continued to research. I ended up getting a pair of T-REX Fuel Tank Chameleon power supplies. These are so great. You can use external dip switches to select voltages on each output. And each and every output has 300mA. Runs my Strymons just fine! Clean, noiseless, just what it should do. The bottom line on these JOYO power supplies? The shocking truth is that, at least on MY pedalboard set up, there wasn't much of a difference to my ear between this and the T-REX. The JOYO might have had a little buzz to it. I can't recall. But from what I remember, I was pleased with it. I sent it back just because I was worried about long term use. But head to head against my T-REX... It's a contender, for sure! So if you want to take a chance on this JOYO and you're not a super-audiophile, then go for it. It's worth the $60 for sure. IF you are already having hum problems and looking for a true upgrade, then I suggest something better.

I admit I haven't had it long, but so far so good. I have a Gator pedal board that came with their power supply. Unfortunately, that thing has a proprietary connector on the cable. The PS is fine, but the cable is shorting out. Couldn't find another cable, so I thought I'd find another solution with a more generic cable. This Joyo product fits that and is cheaper than the competition (which made me a little skeptical). I may never need all its features, but for what I need (powering 5 devices) it is doing the job beautifully. My pedal board includes tuner, chorus and octaver stomp boxes, a bass DI and a Rolls headphone amp. The JP-02 frees me up from any other wall warts. Money! Now I just need to figure a way to attach it to the bottom of the pedal board.

Ein Netzteil für den Preis, isolated Outs, 120mA, ein 12V und ein 18V Anschluss; das wäre ein Traum. Genau was ich benötige für mein Pedalboard, denn mein Jamman Solo XT benötigt 250mA und das liefert mein bisheriges Netzteil nicht. Also bestellt, gefreut, bekommen, ausgepackt und...geärgert!!! Nix 500mA auf Output 8. Was da an Saft raus kommt reicht grade mal dafür die Status LED des JamMan einmal kurz aufleuchten zu lassen, dann verreckt das Teil. Sprich: mal wieder nix vernünftiges für den Preis und die Erkenntnis das Produktbeschreibungen, Versprechen und Tests in Magazinen nicht viel aussagen im Vergleich zur Praxis. Vllt habe ich auch ein Montagsmodell erwischt aber wenn genau der EINZIGE Grund weshalb ich mir überhaupt ein neues Netzteil kaufen wollte nicht erfüllt wird gehe ich nicht davon aus das dies bei einem Ersatz Gerät besser ist. Schade. Also doch nen Fuel Tank...

This power supply is fantastic, it is quiet, surprisingly compact and very well made. It has bright LEDs for every single socket but luckily that can be switched off (or not if you like being dazzled). The main thing is that it is quiet and I've not noticed it introduce any hum or noise to my signal. It should be noted that it comes with fairly short AC leads (but two short extenders), so you might find it a stretch if powering a large pedal board. I've fastened it using velcro as I couldn't see a means of attaching via screws to the underneath of the board. Because it does such a great job powering pedals, I've ended up buying even more pedals...!

Purtroppo noi chitarristi siamo un pò fissati con il logo, piuttosto che dalla reale qualità di un prodotto. Questo alimentatore può giocarsela tranquillamente con qualsiasi altro brand noto ai tanti. E' piccolissimo, robustissimo e decisamente economico. Zero fruscio con 7 pedali collegati. Grandi quelli di Amazon come sempre
