I am starting to injoy these Up Close G2 10-30×50 Binoculars. The optics are of good quality. Clear Bright Images . They are a little difficult to focus at first but as you use them it gets a little easier. Sturdy well built. Not to heavy some were around 2lbs. I do suggest a Trypod for they start to get heavy and shaky after holding awhile. I was able to catch the comet as it went by here in Carmichael ca. This evening 10-15 2024. I could see the heat waves behind the Comet. Do not have phone mount for binoculars. Will need to purchase. The moon was close to full tonight and was able to zoom in to see some craters. Zoom lever works great able to zoom in and out no problem. These are my 1st. Porro Prism Binoculars and I w really like the optics they use. Very good for the money and if you are a beginner to binoculars these would be great to start with. We go camping and hiking alot. And binoculars come in very handy. I use my Nikon Action 22×50 and Bushnell 20×50. Alot as well. I suggest purchasing a hard case if you plane on taking trips with Binoculars. All N all a very good investment. My wife likes using these because there a little liter to hold.

I have to say, I'm impressed with the quality of the optics in these Celestron UpClose G2 10-30x50 Zoom Porro Binoculars! The collimation was off a little, so I had to adjust the prisms slightly, but after the adjustment the binoculars performed flawlessly. I could only find one set of prism adjustment screws, for the vertical alignment, but I couldn't find the horizontal adjustment screws. Fortunately I didn't need to adjust the prisms horizontally. The focus is a little soft at the 30x end of the zoom, but that's nothing to worry about as I can just back off to about 25x to 28x and get a clear focus. There is some light loss at 30x, but the image is still pretty bright. Overall, I would recommend these to anyone, especially in the $50 price range. Are there better binoculars out there? Certainly, but you'll have to pay $100+ to buy them! If you're looking for budget binoculars, these are the ones you want. If you're looking for good binoculars with a wide range of zoom ability, you should buy these! I will be taking these out to watch bald eagles this weekend, should have bright clear skies, so I will have an even better idea of how well these actually do perform.

I really like this binoculars!! But at first I had my doubts. I decided to buy binoculars with 2 objectives in perspective, first we like shooting and needed a way to spot our hits at 100 and 200 yards with a 22lr (small hole). Second we live in Costa Rica and like going hiking in the mountains and bird watching. So, as you can see from one perspective we just needed some magnification and for the other picture quality. This binoculars have comply with both challenges, the picture is clear enough and the magnification is great. I would say that the built quality is more that I expected, they are well built and have good quality glass, for the price, i mean of course are not Swarovski or Leupold, but we are really happy with them. For the weight I like it, they weight just enough so you feel them, but not as much is uncomfortable when walking long distances in mountain terrain. Also I have to say they really are waterproof, we have taken a lot of rain with 0 issues at all. I would recommend this binoculars for anyone looking for decent picture quality and a good price for a first.

Overall, I would rate the Celestron 10x30-50 Zoom Binoculars as a 3-star product. While they offer good value and solid performance at lower zoom levels, the difficulties with focus and clarity at higher magnifications hold them back. They are a decent choice for casual stargazing and outdoor activities but if you’re looking for binoculars capable of delivering sharp detailed views at maximum zoom, you may want to consider other options.

I was looking for an all in one set of binoculars and for the price these are ok. There is a catch if you are looking at these. Good views 10 to 20 but field of view is reduced. Anything above that is gonna be hard to deal with. I was experiencing double images above 20X and could not get them to merge the image. The other problem is image was not as sharp or as bright. So I’m gonna return mine and go for the mid range 12x60mm. I have a really nice 20x80mm for long range and a set of 7x50mm for short range. So I’ll have to break down and spend to get the mid range.

Yes, I should have heeded the warnings of other reviewers. I realized these were low-cost (and likely low quality) binoculars, but these were a child's toy. No, correct that, a child would hurl these binoculars out the window in frustration so these would never suffice as a child toy. I didn't expect high quality optics, but never did I imagine how poorly constructed a pair of binoculars could be. At the lowest power (10X) I could focus the left lens but not the right. The field of view at 10X was very narrow and unappealing. However, zooming out to higher magnifications, up to 30X, the binoculars were essentially unusable. Even if you could battle the focus and get it to a point where it was merely acceptable (which I really couldn't), the image distortion was severe. It was like a movie scene where the character had been slipped a hallucinogenic drug or conked on the head. The level of chromatic aberration around white objects was dizzying, and the stretching and bending of objects at the edges of the field were almost laughable if not so sad. How a company like Celestron would put their brand name on such a poorly made product is beyond me. If you want to get a feeling for how bad these are, get massively drunk, squint your eyes, and look through the bottoms of two bottles.

A bit shaky when your hands are, but besides that its great!

These are actually very nice binos while These are not marketed as astro binos they are capable of giving extremely good veiws of the night sky was able to get pin point stars and with a tripod and the higher power to see quiet alot they don't compete with my 80mm binos but stand tall on their own for a different field of veiw and versatility

Ce sont les premières jumelles que je commande. Elles sont ergonomiques (emplacement des pouces) et le grossissement ainsi que la luminosité sont parfaits. La sacoche en tissu risque de n'être d'aucun secours contre d'éventuels chocs. Ça ne vaut plus la bon étui bien solide d'antan. Détail important : L'effet "tunnel" propre aux jumelles équipées d'un zoom peut en rebuter plus d'un. Mais on s'y fait très vite.

Sirven excelente para observación terrestre/lunar, en Júpiter pude apreciar las lunas pero no más, es necesario un trípode para observar mejor planetas o estrellas luminosas, en el día se ve muy claro y se siente de buena calidad todo.

Mi è arrivato non perfettamente collimato, ma con un po’ di pazienza girando le due vitine sotto il gommino sono riuscito perfettamente a colllimarlo. Per il prezzo offre una buona qualità di visione, possiedo anche il 20 × 50 che si vede meglio.

Falta nitidez con tanto zoom.
