This Kettlercise workout is not for me...
The item itself arrived within time period given. The case was broken in the inside. But DVDs in perfect condition. Good quality and sound.Regards the actual workouts:I'd read the reviews which were all very positive and hence ordered this DVD and the kettle bells.Only just started the workouts - beginners DVD 1 and 2. I find the pace a slow in comparison to other similar workouts I have done. The workouts - a little boring (a long warm up). The instructor not the most engaging. She does explain the exercises well but I would have liked for her to explain which areas are being worked. The background music adds nothing. As others suggested I had my own dance music playing in the background - an improvement!I have started off with a 2kg kettle bell as I wanted to get a feel for the exercises first, but I will increase the weight as not feeling it in my arms (I have used dumbbells before, but not frequently). However, legs - yes was sore the day after (but then I don't work the legs or stretch enough). I do however like the core workouts - after the first day felt it!Also (for the beginners workout at least) I would say you don't even need the kettle bells - a dumbbell would suffice.I will try the intermediate and advanced workouts (bought it so will finish it) but at the moment I can't say it's the best workout that I've done. I ordered Jillian Michaels' 'Shred it with weights' DVD too. Watched that and I do think that is going to be more my thing. Of course - that's my opinion. Others have rated the Kettlercise Lean in 14 it very highly. The choice is yours!

Do extra stretches
I'm currently still on the beginner dvd. I couldn't find anywhere that says how often to do them so I've been doing the beginner one a week. I've done it 5 days in a row and you do ache the day after so make sure you do extra leg stretches. I could hardly walk on one of the days so think I should have had a rest. I've since downloaded the plan from their website and you're supposed to alternate between beginner 1 and 2 for 2 weeks with a days rest in between. These are challenging for beginners but not too hard. I'm really enjoying it as makes me sweat loads and feel slightly slimmer. I will update once I've weighed and measured but I'm not following the diet plan as find it's too restrictive

Outstanding and perfect for newbies
I can not rate this anymore for people new to kettlebells. It's great well explained. The whole package is fantastic . Anyone who says it's rubbish did not try hard enough haha ! Great instructors yes the music is rubbish so simple crank up your stereo. 30 mins not long enough do two workouts not rocket science . Look forward to buying more in the future. Thanks guys ☺️

Only used it once when I first brought the dvd but since being in lockdown I have used it more and I have managed to complete the first discnot for the faint hearted as it’s intense even for a beginner and be prepared to sweat loadsSweat is fat crying after all

Great dvd to get you started with kettlebells
For a beginner in kettlebell exercises I really loved it, I did one dvd per week and actually built some strength!It's a very fun bunch of exercises that work out you thighs butt arms and abs!The only downside is that the music during the actual workouts it's the old style boring fitness dvd music.It would be better if you could put a more motivational song on while you work out, but otherwise apart from the bad music, it's been great
