I have long, wavy/straight, medium thickness hair. It's in good condition, but the ends were desperate for a trim. My layers had grown out and I had enough of hacking at my fringe with the kitchen scissors. I searched amazon to see if there were any decent hair scissors and came across these. Cheap as chips, so not much to lose if they weren't good. I am so impressed and now I wonder how I ever coped without them! I know it's obvious to most people....but the difference in the cut compared to my kitchen scissors is absolutely incredible. Rather than hacking my ends off and making it look dull and dry, these scissors cut it in such a way that leaves my ends feeling so healthy and soft. They also "thin" out the ends by cutting into them with ease, so there's not a blunt cut. I very rarely go to the hairdresser as my long hair is fairly low maintenance and is in good condition. I've been cutting my hair for a while now (with kitchen scissors) so i'm familiar with the do's and don'ts and how to add layers etc. These scissors are a game changer for how easy this now is! Especially with long hair too. My side fringe has nice shape/flick back to it, my ends look healthy and my layers are lovely and soft again. I have small hands, so the scissors are extremely comfortable for me to hold, they don't slip and they are nice and lightweight...the perfect size so as not to be cumbersome. I can imagine people with larger hands may have a little more difficulty. I would highly recommend these as i'm so chuffed!

I had never cut my own hair before - or anyone else's for that matter. However, lockdown had left my hair hanging unceremoniously down to my lower back in length and as thick as it is it was also not healthy, knotted regularly and was fragile. So I needed a cut, and these scissors arrived to what I must say were fairly low expectations. However, the second I took them out of the package: High quality - they feel heavy, enough to manoeuvre with precision. They come with plastic rings already in place so there's no discomfort if you - like me - needed a good few hours to trim. Cutting - sharp, precise and swift. My hair is thick but also naturally very straight, so I was able to chop with control to my heart's desire. I am very impressed with these scissors. I was able to give myself a layered, choppy cut that many people have commented looks like a professional did it. Now my hair is lighter and feels healthier. Definitely worth the price. It's also worth noting that I was able to do a technique that I think my previous hairdresser called feathering, which allows you to create a linear layer around the shape of your face.

Good, sharp blades, comfortable in the hand, and a nice pouch to keep them in. I gave 4 stars because the gel seal around the finger grip fell out, but it popped back in. It was so easy to cut my fringe; I ended up cutting my hair into a shaggy bob. I've only ever cut my fringe before.

These scissors are fantastic. I choose these as they were the ones with the most positive reviews for under £10. Wish I’d bought them years ago. I’m no hairdresser, but I have cut my husband and sons hair for years (they both have easy short hairstyles to keep under control, and both of them recent spending a fortune for a cut at the hairdresser every 8 weeks 😂). Bless them. I’ve been using a cheap nasty pair of scissors for years, and hadn’t realised how bad and rubbish they were until I bought these. I instantly felt very professional snipping away with these. They’re really sharp, give a good clean cut, are a fantastic size for handling, have removable rubber handle inners which I prefer to use left in for a bit of grip. The finger rest is also a fab feature. Come in a little plastisol triangular wallet with a slip off plastic tip protector. Fantastic price too at £7.99, and arrived next day via Amazon prime. It’s a 10/10 from me.

Bought these not expecting much. I had bought hairdressing products before from Amazon (not this retailer though) and had been massively let down in the past. These scissors are brilliant for the price. First off these arrived within one day and were well packaged. As you’ll see from the photos, nice scissors in a leather pouch. Silcone rings are inserted into the finger holes to make them more comfortable but these are easily removed and put back again if you have slightly bigger fingers. My husband had to trim my hair and the finger holes were fine. They cut hair without any tugging and were sharp when they arrived. Nice little note with them too which made it a bit more personal.

Firstly, when I purchased this product in July 2020 the scissors did not come with a leather pouch, which I think it is a very nice touch and I am quite jealous now as it makes a great accessory. I am glad to see the company invests in product development. However, this does not mean the quality of the scissors is affected, as they are more than I could ask for. I have never cut my own hair, so they are so easy to use for a beginner, especially if you watch some tutorials. The manoeuvrability is outstanding, I even tried to do some quarantine haircut on my boyfriend and I found them very easy to use. I would even say they are also very stylish and the glittering blue makes it stand out.

I wanted to wait a while to write a review on this as I wanted to see if the scissors caused split ends - it's been about a month since I gave myself a lockdown haircut and these scissors were perfect! Really sharp, easy to hold and use, they did the job perfectly. In fact, I might just cut my own hair from now on. Great product. I do wish they came with a pouch or a case to protect them but for £15, this is an absolute bargain!
