I am not a big beauty product person, but when I hit my early-mid thirties the skin on my face had gone from oily T-zone as a teen/young adult to overall dry, rough, and tight. I tried several lotions over the years, but by afternoon I'd feel dry and tight again. A co-worker about my age with great skin recently said I should use a vitamin C serum and another co-worker recommended CeraVe PM lotion to use every day. I went on Amazon and just bought the number 1 rated vitamin C serum with 20% ascorbic acid, which happened to be this one. After purchase I saw that a lot of people had reviewed it based on getting a free sample and I was hoping that the glowing reviews were factual. I have been using this product for about a month after I shower at night and when I get up in the morning, applying about 4-5 drops (about a dime size) using my palm and waiting about 5 minutes before putting my lotion on. My skin looks and feels great. It's always soft now and doesn't get that roughness or tightness. I'm comfortable all day and my tone is more even as well. It has no or minimal odor, absorbs immediately and leaves no stickiness. Lotion goes over it beautifully, smoothly, and is absorbed. I do not wear foundation or powder so I can't speak to how makeup sits on it. This is an excellent product and I will continue purchasing and using it. I also recommended it to my younger sister who is following down the same face skin problem path as me.

This serum is not at all what I expected. It leaves my skin sticky, and I wonder how much vitamin C is actually in the product. Obviously, I won't be buying again.

Haven't used long enough for a review but so far so good. The 3 stars represents that I received the purchase when I was told and was exactly as I ordered. Will write review after I have been using longer. Thank you

I've used Vitamin C Serum before and am not exactly sold on this brand. It doesn't seem to be as concentrated or have the same % of Vitamin C as the serums I've used in the past.

This serum is cloudy with many little brown particles and smells really awful. When I got it, I was not sure if the serum in the bottle should look like this. I emailed the seller, the person answered my email was very prompt and nice. So I really want to like this product. I tried for a few days but I could not continue to use it because of the smell.

Ok so I just received my product today and I hope am not exaggerating b'cos for some time now I have been breaking out and nothing seem to be working on the dark spots. I did a lot of research on vitamin c serums and as a result tried a couple which made matters worse. I just happened to go with my guts after the ratings/reviews here on Amazon. I had also seen and read a lot on the clarisonic mia 1 cleansing brush, Dermadoctor ain't misbehaving cleanser so I run to Macy's to get them. After cleansing my face with the brush and the cleanser, I toned and applied the vitamin c serum which I felt in love with instantly b'cos to my surprise the grit people are complaining about dissolved right into my skin without any tingling sensation at all. I took a shower after, which usually leave my face dry from all the steam after my skin is dry but this was not the case since this serum left my skin very hydrated. I know it's a bit early for a review but this review is based on my instant use of the product, I hope it cause no reaction because this is my first application and am completely in love. I hope it works well for me so I can follow up with an update in 2 weeks.

I really like this product. Some reviewer's have said that it leaves a tackiness on your face; when I first put it on there is a little bit of tackiness, or stickiness, but it goes away quite quickly (a couple of seconds) as it's absorbed into the skin. Perhaps others are putting to much on? After using it, my skin feels softer and plumper and I've noticed my moisturizer seems to go on better. This is the second time I've ordered the product, and will be ordering it again in the future.
