Can I leave my phone in my bedroom and use this down the hall in the shower? Or must they be closer to each other?

Yes. I turn on my phone/music usually in the kitchen on the charger and have the bot in the shower. Estimate around 40 feet away. No connection issues.

Is this loud enough for a backyard BBQ party of about 20 people on the 4th of July?

Yes definitely. I had a get together with about 2 dozen friends and family for a BBQ and we used this as back drop music around a pool. Everyone was impressed at the loudness and clarity of the music.

Is there a way to 'reset' the speaker? Mine is just blinking blue and won't turn off, or connect to any devices, even after pressing the power button.

Put it on radio mode and let the battery drain until it dies..this resets it. Recharge then pair it again to your device. This worked for me after mine somehow wouldn't pair all of a sudden after several uses it kept trying to pair but couldnt connect.

Does it have fm radio
