Review: Great product except... - It's great for a car that doesn't have any painted plastic anywhere near it. I used to buy this product all the time until my new car had a plastic insert right below the air freshener. It turned over, leaked inside the plastic, and peeled the paint. The company did pay to have it replaced, though. If your air vents aren't near anything that could peel or corrode, I'd DEFINITELY recommend it because it's the best car freshener on the market. Review: Smells very fresh - This refill was exactly what I was hoping for. I already had the black "base" of the air freshener, and this oil plugged right into that one. Works like a charm! ## Features - Car Scented Oil Refill ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000PWAT4U | | Area Odor Remover Type | Air Freshener | | Best Sellers Rank | #5,909,221 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) #16,473 in Automotive Air Fresheners | | Brand | Glade | | Brand Name | Glade | | Container Type | Bottle | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 out of 5 stars 14 Reviews | | Item Form | Oil | | Manufacturer | Glade | | Number of Items | 1 | | Part Number | 800001944 | | Power Source | Passive Diffusion | | Recommended Uses For Product | Automotive interiors | | Scent | Outdoor Fresh | | UPC | 046500149177 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Images ![Glade Auto Scented Oil Automotive Car Vent Air Freshener Refill, Outdoor Fresh Scent - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81s5djnOnIL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product except... *by A***S on November 2, 2016* It's great for a car that doesn't have any painted plastic anywhere near it. Works like a charm! ### ⭐ Don't use glade plug ins , they ruin your car *by T***O on December 18, 2014* I recently bought my daughter her first car , a new model Altima. She went out and bought a glade clip on to give it a sweet smell I suppose. On my first real car ride with her I noticed something on her control panel, right under the vents where the radio/cd controls are. She said yeah I don't know what that is. I quickly realized that what had happened was that the oil in the plug in had somehow gotten all over the controls and left this very hard build up that actually ate through the shiny finsh. She'd moved it to the other vent and when I pulled it off, there was a hard build up that's absolutely impenetrable underneath exactly where the glass bottle was resting. I checked to see if the bottle was cracked.. Nope. I checked for leaks.. Nope. I don't know why this happened but I've gently tried removing all of it to no avail. I'm pissed! I'm a single mom paying for a shiny new car and now the control panel looks awful . The glade plug ins ruined it. DO NOT BUT THEM. I'd give zero stars if I could πŸ‘Ž --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/18936821-glade-auto-scented-oil-automotive-car-vent-air-freshener-refill](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/18936821-glade-auto-scented-oil-automotive-car-vent-air-freshener-refill) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
