Add this to your dry/wet vac and dump your regular vacuum forever
No dyson or multi-hundred dollar house vacuum can beat a 10 gallon dry/wet vac for cleaning power. It far exceeds them in suction. And you don't have to keep emptying those little filters. Why spend 200+ on an underpowered, small filtered device when you can pickup a dryvac for under 100?A dry/wet vac is also capable of sucking up water. making it useful for shampooing a rug. It's problem is is needs an actual rotating brush. Otherwise it is very laborious to vacuum rugs. I added this air powerhead with an adapter to my dryvac and now is my goto vacuum. Because there is no actual motor, there is no issues with water. If you run over something that locks up the brush. it's not a big deal to clear it. unlike a regular vacuum you usually have to stop everything. turn it over dig out whatever got in there and usually is a big hassle. And if you have a place has dogs/cat hair, ashes from a fireplace. Expect to be clearing a regular vacuum quite often. This head is made for a central vac. but who has a central vac house? Most dryvac's come with a 1 1/4 adapter use that on this powerhead. A dryvac on a rug with the stock heads that they come with is very laborious. But with an actual powered brush this changes it into a monster house vacuum. You can feel the vibration of the brush on the rug it is spinning so hard. You always know the head is spinning properly because of this. Debris actually slams with force up into hose you can hear it click pretty hard. sort of a satisfying feedback to know its working. If you want to shampoo your rug go ahead, because this head and the vac can handle getting wet. The brush on this head floats up/down in the chamber which is good because it keeps the brush in contact with the surface below. With a regular vacuum I was stopping every 15 minutes emptying out the tray. with a dryvac I NEVER need to do this for the entire time. And the in between those 15 minutes a regular vacuum loses power as the filter clogs. So some downsides. running over gum wrappers, or things that can plug the port inside the head will stop the brush. (but not the vacuum). Fortunately there is room for you to get your fingers in there and just clear it out. and a door on the back that you can open in seconds to clear anything else. Since the brush at the end of a free hose. it is easy to just turn it and clear it. It is not dangerous to put your hands in there in while it is on. unlike a powered brush would.I also bought the small version air powerhead as an experiment for spot cleaning and it also works. This head is good for cleaning a whole house. The small brush is good for cleaning couches, cars, and wet spot cleaning areas on a rug.Let me tell you it is no fun dragging out an actual shampoo machine. But if you can just drag out your dryvac on a hose deal with whatever mess. Then take it out to the back and hose out the canister. you good to go!So what to do with the dust issue? a 10 gallon vac has a huuuuge filter. much more filter surface area than a regular vac. Want things hepa clean? go buy a hepa filter and stick it on the back of the dryvac out port.So why am doing all this? Because I was sick of buying new vacuums every couple years. They ether don't work well. cost hundreds for no extra benefit. Got clogged up anyway. Tired of turning them over and dealing with an integrated unit where the brush and the unit are all one piece. It's always a crapshoot getting a new vacuum. You can pay upwards of 400 bucks thinking that because it's expensive it's going to work the best. The more gadgetry on the vacuum the more things go wrong. or complicated to open the canister. you can't take them out in the back and hose them off. Nor do you dare use it in a wet environment. A dryvac is simple, super powerful, easy to clean and empty, sealed BETTER than any regular vacuum. has a long hose, rolls on wheels. It just needed a solution for the brush head. That what this review is all about. Thinking outside the box.

This really sucks...in a good way!
If you're in a certain demographic you have a central vacuum, lucky you. I had to install mine but I'm so glad I did. The noise reduction is worth the price of admission, but the real plus is the fines go out the the exhaust to the great outdoors. Add this head to your hose ,you won't be sorry.

Works great
This product was 1/2 the cost of a competing product and I bought this one by mistake while shopping for a turbo brush. I'm happy I did since the other one doesn't work at all and this one works great.

Amazon goofed, the page says it is 1 1/4 inch neck, the one I received was 1 1/2 inch
Had to try to get an adapter to make it fit my 1 1/4 hose . . the turbine is great though, well designed, and easy to clean . .
