Very disappointed
First high end keyboard purchase. Spent full retail $200. Thought I was treating myself to something nice that would last a long long time. Guess again. I expected something boasting to be built so well to last more than 2.5 yrs before having issues but I guess that is why the warranty is only 2 years. Very disappointed with Corsair and their software updates over the past few years have not improved anything. They really suck at software design. The keyboard is still limping along but it definitely is not a high end gaming keyboard since about 20-30% of the keys no longer fire correctly. They either don't fire at all or repeat fire for a single key press. Now I've read a lot on this and nothing seems to help. Guess it is time to replace it, but most likely I will never buy a Corsair keyboard again. Oh, and I had to return the Void RGB Pro headset too since it was extremely lack luster and totally not worth the money. It too was lacking big time in basic software features, like A BATTERY METER that wasn't hidden in the worst place and if charging you could not read the percentage of charge without unplugging the charging cord. Come on Corsair, I thought you were better than this. I guess I was wrong. Well next PC build will NOT contain anything Corsair.

Perfection in a keyboard
This keyboard is amazing! Currently using it to type this review and I couldn't be happier. The keys feel perfect, the construction is extremely solid, and the thick braided cable running from the keyboard itself that splits into two USB ports is really thick and it feels like it'll never break. The pictures don't do the lighting justice; it looks way better in person. And the customization with the Corsair Utility Engine is pretty complex but the possibilities are endless. There's only a couple of lighting profiles that come pre installed, but if you're lazy like me, you can go to Corsair's forums and download lighting profiles from there for free. There's no USB pass through which I would've liked but it's no big deal. One thing to take note of, the hand rest that attaches onto the bottom of the keyboard, while it serves its purpose just fine and adds comfort, if your hands sweat a lot like mine it will definitely show.Overall, I give it a 9.8/10, I just wish it had a USB pass through.

My first mechanical keyboard.
I love this keyboard. I do not bother to create my own profiles, I just download ones that others have made. The possibilities are endless if you are interested in creating your own profiles and can work with the software. The software is not all that easy to use, that is the only negative I have for this keyboard. The light on the highest setting does not distract me, although it may for some. Luckily, there are different light strengths to choose from, so you can turn them off, or turn them down if they bother you.The clicking noise of my keyboard does not bother me at all, it is not that loud. The response time of the keys are amazing. I love it. I do not have to completely press the key before it responds, so you can minimize the clicking noise with practice. I also like that I do not have to mash down on my keys to get a response from them.If you are using Win10, be forewarned -- it took a while for my OS to consistently recognize my keyboard even though the software and drivers were installed. What I mean is, sometimes I had access to profiles, sometimes my keyboard was only recognized as a generic device, which did not allow me to use profiles or change the LED settings. Windows 10 is a mess when it comes to recognizing devices consistently. Ugh...

Best keyboard you can get
Corsair makes the best keyboards! I love the high quality aluminum frame!Pros:- I love the aluminum chassis- Aluminum volume wheel is a huge plus, it scrolls super smoothly- RGB functionality is awesome- RGB animation customizations are great, I have sunk hours (4+) into playing with animations- Key switches are nice and durable- LED is illuminated pretty evenly under the keyCons:- Software could use some UI and UX love, not the easiest to figure out- Features for creating animation can be more robust, I found myself having to do cheap hacks to achieve certain animation results that should be includedAll-in-all, I would highly recommend this keyboard. It is magnificently designed both for function and form.

BEST keyboard wayy better than my logitech, razr, or steelseries.
BEST Gaming/Typing keyboard on the market. Purchased this item with Red Mechanical Keys since I've owned many mechanical keyboards in the past. I like how less discreet the sound from my keyboard makes. Reds mechanical keys are wayyy quieter than brown or blue keys. I love everything about this keyboard from the multi-changing colors to the amazing effects. What I love most about it is the response and feel I get when I type or when I play games on my PC. My words per minute increased with less typing errors. If you are interested in purchasing this item get it!! I hesitated because I own a lot of keyboard (logitech, razr, steelseries, etc), but this Corsair K70 is my FAVORITE keyboard. I really only hesitated because of the price. I regret not purchasing this earlier when it first came out. Hands down this one is a keeper in my book!

Flashy! But pricey
First mechanical keyboard that I've owned. I love the look of this keyboard with the backlighting. Personally, the buttons need to be pressed a little to far to bottom out, but that is just a preference thing. It's also pretty loud to type on, but that's to be expected with a mechanical keyboard.Obviously not a budget keyboard. If you have the money and are looking at upgrading your keyboard, I would highly recommend this one.

Excelente producto
