Do these have eyelet ends?

Yes these have the thicker style eyelet end.

Do they come with new retainer clips?

Ours didn't....bought a package on Amazon

Can I change the end eyelets to ball mount clips? Will the eyelets screw off and if som what is the female size M6?

The ends do thread off. This support would have M8X1.25 threads.
