I thought these were good and reasonably priced.
I've tried several brands of chewable vitamin c and struggle with finding good quality ingredients that taste good. I was pleasantly surprised with these. I read some of the other reviews and can share that, yes, they do have a firm texture, but mine were not at all difficult to chew, and they didn’t stick to my teeth. Several mentioned that they were too tart and, yep, they do get tart/sour as you chew them – they are vitamin c though (citrus) so I expected this, and actually appreciated the citrusy flavor. I found them to have a stevia type sweetness – mostly at the beginning and the end. There was no nasty aftertaste – just very sweet, but some may consider that an artificial sweet flavor. I like them, as does my husband. My daughter found them to be too tart - more on the sour side and was unwilling to eat a second one. So, when considering this item, make sure you are okay with tart and sour. I was pleased with the price and found it comparable to many other brands of equal quality. Also, this container has an easy open sealed lid, which we appreciate. I agree with many others that they should properly label the mg dosage on the front. I took a couple of minutes to check all of my other vitamins, including two other chewable vitamin c, and all of them clearly advertise the mg dosage on the front. For example, my other vitamin c brands show ‘500mg’ on the front label – these are marked as ‘1,500mg per day’, but the back label (see pic) states each serving is 3 tablets. So, if you want the full 1500 mg serving, you must take 3 tablets, making this a one month supply. Love that they are vegan, no artificial colors or flavors, no preservatives, non-gmo, and made in the USA.

Crush it and make a drink!
I would have given this 5 stars except for the deceptive packaging/marketing. These are 500mg tablets. That's what the front of the package should say, but doesn't.Yes, these are sour. All chewable vitamin C tablets are sour. However, these are particularly sour because they are smaller tablets and don't have a lot of filler or sweetener to balance them out. Some people might like the fact that these are smaller. The circumference is a little smaller than a dime, and the thickness is a little bigger than two dimes (See picture for size comparison with a dime and a different brand of 500mg chewable C).All of that said, these make phenomenal mega-C beverage. Here's how I make mine:1. Crush three tablets into a fine powder with a mortar and pestle.2. Mix with 1 Tablespoon honey to form a paste.3. Add 8 ounces cold water and mix until evenly blended.4. Drink over ice! It's refreshing, like a sweet citrus beverage, and it won't get all that acid stuck on your teeth. In the winter, you can heat the beverage instead of drinking over ice. I grew up drinking "hot vitamin C" when I was sick. Maybe it was only a thing in my family!

Vitamin C: Packs a Zesty Punch
The flavor is more natural and very tart. It's chewable and I wonder if it could be dissolved in a glass of water. It has a slightly sandy after-taste if you chew it too long, but overall I feel more energetic and healthier after having taken this supplement for at least two weeks. I like the fact the flavor is not too sweet or "chemical" or synethic, and the dosage is just right. I've noticed that since I started taking this supplement, I have not had to use my anti-allergy medication as much and I breathe more easier in the mornings. In addition, my skin is clearing up and healing more quickly than it was before I was taking this supplement.I think if I could dissolve it in water and mix it with a tea or something, it would take away some of the sharp tart after-taste. But overall, this particular Vitamin C supplement has been the most effective I've tried by far. Definitely recommend!

My favorite vitamin C chewable!
Finally, a chewable I feel comfortable using! I loved sweetarts when I was younger and that is what this reminds me of. Many people I know use chewables as a way to get supplements in since they have issues swallowing pills. I don't have that problem but I did have an issue with the ingredients in most chewable. Corn syrup, sugar, and synthetic stuff.Having had autoimmune issues for many years cleaning up what went into my body became priority to me. Also, did you know sugar lowers the immune systems ability to fight for you? Vitamin C is a big deal with some other key supplements to support the immune system. Having found a chewable sweeten with monk fruit and stevia made me very happy and curious, so I bought it. I find it perfect for me. Yes it is sweet and tart but that is why I like it. If your not sure if you can handle it just have a glass of water ready to rinse your mouth.

So hard they are likely to break a tooth or two plus they have an unknown ingredient
I bought these for my mother in the nursing home. I finally signed her out of the nursing home so I could take care of her. They sent this vitamin C with her. When I gave it to her to chew with her first meal at home, I could not believe how hard it was for her to chew. I took one out of the bottle and tried to chew it myself. It was so hard, that I was lucky as was my mother not to break a tooth. I decided that I would take these and give her mine that were more chewable. To my shock and surprise, my tongue broke out from letting this tablet melt on my tongue. My mother arrived with a meat raw tongue that was quite painful. I had no idea the cause. I gave her several doses of benadryl on the theory it was some kind of allergic reaction from something. She improved with the benadryl. After 3 doses of me letting these tablets melt on my tongue, my tongue got the same soreness that my mother has only not as bad. She took this for over a month. I took it for a day and a half. I would never recommend these to anyone. I think there is some kind of toxic ingredient in these pills that don't belong in a vitamin.

Good product if you can handle the taste
Great high dose of vitamin C, but painfully sour, almost unbearable.
