Biona Organic Mixed Beans in Water , 400g, Pack of 1

These are a must in my kitchen cupboard so I always have them.on hand when I need to create a meal unexpectedly (like it friends drop in and I only have one chop!) or if I'm feeling creative. They are great as a salad, drained and tossed in a herby, garlicy dressing made with a good olive oil. Or they're equally good hot with a tin of tomatoes or just a dolop of tomato purée stirred through and some TexMex chile flavours such as oregano and cumin plus a bit of heat either from a fresh chile or child powder for a quick emergency gluten-free, vegan chile san carne, all from the standby stock. Or they make a great soup, with one of those stock gels, a splodge of tomato purée (again!) a chopped garlic clove (or two), whatever dried herbs you have (especially basil) and a handful of broken pasta (if you don't keep.any soup pasta handy) and you have a passable version of a minestrone all from standby stock, (a!though the minestrone is improved if you have some veg,even leftover, to add). I've also made a delicious soup by whizzing these in a blender with water, a stock gel, a clove of garlic and some herbs, simple but good. I won't weary you with few emotions of other things like be made, but and cold, but I hope you get the idea that every kitchen should have at least one tin of these in standby at all times, not just because they are handy to have and are wonderfully f!edible but because they taste good. William Morris famously said you should have nothing in your home unless you know it to be useful if believe it to be beautiful. Here's my version of his dictum: have nothing in your larder unless you know it to be useful or believe it to be delicious. These pass on both points.

Best quality Beans. Very versatile, not Dented this time - but some have been in the past. Recommend this Brand. Great in a Curry/ Chilli/Soups & Salads.

I love these organic beans. Tasty in strews, hotpots, salad and just to eat alone as any meal of the day is great. The flavours are naturally tasty and do not taste chemically processed. This brand I believe is the best on the market and not swapping for any other
