The metal version with a plastic cover to pad the jaws works better. For really thin pieces, the grozing pliers work best. **Q: Does anyone know which interchangeable jaws to use for what and how to put them on?** A: They just snap on over the ends of the pliers. I don’t use them, I find it best to apply pressure to one side of the glass in my wall mount glass cutter. I use the pliers when I have a very small amount of glass to trim off like less than an inch. I use the pliers to hold the small section of glass near the score line and snap it off. I believe the rounded bump adapter when applied aligned to the score it will snap the glass at the score mark.
