Great little power supply
Great little power supply , takes up very little room easily runs HF rig at full power. I have a 50w two meter radio and 100w HF radio hooked up to it, with no issues when one of the radios is keyed down ....

Generates roaming RFI noise
There is a lot to like about this compact power supply except that mine generates very noticeable roaming RFI on 20 and 40 meters. I didn't listen for it on other bands. The funny thing is I have a non-metered version of this PS that I've owned for about 30 years and it has no such problem. I returned it and will look for an alternative.

Nice power supply for the price.
I'm running a telescope rig with this. I put together a small box with a bunch of plugs on it to hook everything into and this power supply runs it all. You can set it to a detent that automatically sets the output at about 13.5V, which is perfect. My digital volt meter says its accurate. The fan only runs as fast as needed, so in my opinion it's pretty quiet for the loads I'm putting on it, which are only drawing about 5 amps at the max. I'm very happy with it for what I'm doing with it.

Nice power supply but isn't noiseless
I bought this power supply to replace my Diamond GZV4000 40A switching power supply. The Diamond power supply produces spurs that show up in the 80 and 40 meter bands. The reviews and claims on this power supply are that it very clean with respect to RF noise. I found no significant difference between this supply and the Diamond supply as far as radiated RF noise is concerned. The claims that this MFJ power supply may be quiet may be related to the switching frequency which seems to be less stable the Diamond supply. That tends to spread the RF switching noise over a greater bandwidth which will have the net effect of being a bit quieter. Bottom line, nice supply but don't expect it to be exceptionally quiet.Stuart ki6qp
