I bought one for a friend who gardens but somehow mixed up the ship to address. It was sent to me. I decided to keep it and try it out to cut threads while I am at the sewing machine piecing quilt blocks. IT WORKS GREAT FOR THAT USE! All you have to do is keep it on your thumb (no need for the finger protector) put the blade up against the thread (which you pull tight/put tension on) and with a flick of your wrist it cuts the thread. Very well made, sharp, good value.

The glove/cover for the pointer finger is a bit tight and ends up cutting off my circulation after a bit (I don't have giant hands, but they aren't tiny either). So I just wear my gardening gloves and slip the knife part on my thumb and it works great! Some of my rose stems are a little too thick for just a pinch, but overall they work great!

The cutting edge is quite sharp, my thumb slipped and I almost had a pinky in with my beans ! I threw it away, as I am obviously not able to use it properly. Just be careful!

These are such a life saver in the kitchen and in the garden. They are so sharp so be careful and mindful when using them at first! I use these multiple times throughout the week instead of a variety of make shift tools. They also come with the finger gloves that fit both my husband and I. Easy to clean and store. Stop using weird hacks for clipping your herbs or peeling the skin off ginger, just get these it is so worth it. 10/10

I should have know that something that looked too good to be true, would be a failure. You have to work the tiny “sock” onto your finger, then you have to work the tiny rubber cover over the sock, then you put the cutting piece on your thumb. It’s awkward, sweaty and not easy to use. I did one side of my hanging basket with this and the other side with just a pair of herb scissors. The herb scissors were by far easier and quicker. Save your money and buy scissors instead.

Great for gardening

These mostly do what they are supposed to but you have to put a finger glove on before the latex one on your index finger so it's not quick and convenient as I had hoped. Works how it should. Also didn't like the cap that goes over the blade. It didn't stay on well and was a little top big. It definitely wasn't made to fit.

The blades are very sharp so be careful but they cut so well sometimes I don’t even know they cut through until I look. Convenient.
