I've loved mermaids ever since. Disney would never, ever be true to the telling of this tale, of course. It's not a traditionally "happy" ending, but I feel in the end that it was happy for the little mermaid. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lovely Book *by on Reviewed in the United States April 21, 2023* A good sized book, larger than normal and beautiful illustrations . My grandchildren love it😊 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Illustrations *by on Reviewed in the United States November 28, 2020* Good illustrations. Different than little kids version. I have a teen granddaughter that likes Little Mermaid. Haven't given it to her yet as a gift but I think she will enjoy having for her collection. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/1883575-the-little-mermaid-the-classic-edition-charles-santore-childrens-classics](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/1883575-the-little-mermaid-the-classic-edition-charles-santore-childrens-classics) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-29*
