Great unit.
I bought this as a gift and the recipient absolutely loves it. It was easy to put together and has produced some wonderful salad crops in only six weeks. The whole idea is clever. I bought the stand to raise the Vegepod off the ground and the stand is sturdy and a good height. The cover is not at all flimsy, and the watering system works really well. It’s a great unit that prevents having to bend but gives a good sized growing area with a variety of depths. It is deep enough in the centre for carrots. All the produce grown so far has been pest and bug free too. This isn’t a cheap unit, but it is well made and should last a long time.

Great bed!
Happy with my vegepod. Easy enough to put together. Filled as instructed- recommend you purchase perlite or vermiculite in advance so you can fill when your pod arrives. Medium pod needed - 50l of manure, 50l or perlite and 125 of soil roughly there are instructions on the vegepod website and videos for construction. You can easily put together on your own. Very sturdy and sprinkler works incredibly well. Delivery was personal from a Vegepod rep who explained things and gave a free cold cover for long delivery time (was within time given by Amazon estimate- just took awhile due to international shipping and COVID crisis). Was a nice touch they gave the cover though and they were really responsive answering queries. Overall really pleased with the purchase. Note, quite heavy when filled but still easily rolled on wheels.

Great veg bed
Having moved to a smaller garden, but still wanting to grow some veg we were looking at pods and eventually came across this. It's fantastic. It sits in a corner of the patio getting the sun and no back breaking bending down to tend it. We bought the stand on wheels so we can move it about (thoroughly recommend the stand with the wheels). The instructions are so-so but log on to the video instructions and they are so funny ! Two guys in Australia giving you step by step instructions in about1 minute segments. Thoroughly recommend this produce as it looks good, the cover protects against frost and birds and it only needs watering weekly so if we go away we are not trying to get people in to water the beds! It is great

Ideal for growing vegetables outdoors
Very sturdy, my daughter loves it. Her vegetables have flourished so much more than perched on window sills or in gro bags. 2 people needed to put together especially the cover as it's heavy. Also bought the stand which for us was necessary. Expensive but very useful

Great product. Is super Sturdy.
Instructions could be improved, but easy enough to assemble. Price is almost too much, I'd probably only buy another if the price came down. Very sturdy and hood keeps the squirrels out.

Useful
Well thought out piece of kit Ideal for people who have problems bending for those who like grown their own vegetables etc a bit expensive but you will get your own grown vegetables and saving money and picking them fresh

Great for growing your veg and is raised so easy to use.
This has been brilliant this year, grown lots of veg in this, lettuce, spring onions, parsley, carrots, leeks. Love that it is raised as I am disabled and find it easy to use. Very sturdy. Comes with its own cover, for a bit of protection. Great wish I had got the larger one now! Very happy with it.

ok
I have had a couple of these now, and they are ok, but... Quite simply: 1. Bit expensive 2. Instructions are not good enough 3. Could do with actually fixing to base rather than just sitting on it 4. Covers are a flippin nightmare to stretch over and secure to frame. 5. Myriad of plastic wingnuts and bolts - not for the person with arthritis However: 1. Actually works 2. Bigger than you realise, so plenty of room for whatever you want to grow. 3. Base frame is sturdy. 4. Easy access as a raised bed (well it is definitely more than just a raised bed for sure) 5. Contact with company is great. The staff listen and respond. Nothing is a problem. 6. I know I am gonna enjoy it PS Make sure you have enough space - with the top tipping backwards to open, it almost doubles in size, so don't put it against a fence unless you have a base with wheels

It takes a fair while to put this thing together. The instructions are vague. Seems OK when assembled and looking forward to some fresh veggies. It is extremely overpriced.

We were intrigued by the Vegepod because we wanted a raised bed for growing vegetables on our patio. The "Shark Tank" note is from the Australian version of that show. It's available to view and it's a good intro to the product. Putting it together was not the worst thing to do, but the written instructions are not the best. I HIGHLY recommend watching their on-line videos (check their website) before starting so you have a good visual of how things should go. Once you watch those the written instructions will make more sense. We also bought the "Trolley" to raise the Vegepod up to waist height. See my warning above on this, too. But once it's together it is a godsend as we are older and bending down to tend to the garden would be a back nightmare. We've now added our soil and recently planted our first potential crop of veggies (There are also some on-line videos about that process). It's still a little cool here (NJ in April) but we're hoping the cover helps keep the plants alive as the weather warms up. We definitely appreciate the way this is constructed. No wood to worry about rotting! and the trolley makes it easy to move around the patio if needed. (the trolley does not go on top of soft ground because of the wheels - they sell a stand without the wheels but after you add soil it will be heavy so place that where it's going to stay!). Time will tell if the thick plastic Vegepod unit and enamel-painted metal trolley stand up to our sometimes harsh NJ winters. We would have given this 5 stars all around if we had seen some veggies growing but it's too soon for that. One more time ... watch the videos!! Then enjoy the fruits (or veggies) of your labor.

I have NEVER been able to keep any plant alive but I really wanted my kids to start a garden. Since I didnt have the tools to build a greenhouse or planters I got rid hoping it would help keep the bugs out. This is my vegetable garden after one month. It’s amazing. It stands high winds and keeps out most bugs. Aside from a few ants, I haven’t had any other bugs. Very expensive but it works great
