Awesome smoker turning me away from typical/charcoal smokers
I love mine and highly recommend getting this or a larger wifi model if you do a lot of cookouts. This one has been perfect for me and my family. The wifi feature makes it extremely easy to monitor your smoke and you can check on it at work. But you have to ignite it at the smoker but you can control temp and turn it off from wherever you have data either cellular or wifi. The smoke is more even since it maintains temperature and isnt as smokey. Call me a cheater but i hate using the Oklahoma joe bronco i had that i gave my dad because it smokes too thick with the white smoke which is probably user error. I liked it before but the access with it being a drum barrel is a pain to which the highlander or offset smoker wouldve been better. Id still take the traeger over both either way. The app is easy to use and just makes it nicer especially with the meat probe and alerts. I forget if you can find a recipe and set the temp from the recipe or not. I dont really have any gripes besides pellet sensor and shelf are add ons. I havent tried taking out the grease pan/heat shield to see if that works to get more of a wood fire grill or not since the plate blocks flames from getting near the meat by displacement Highly recommend if you got the money.

I was smoked away by this Grill/Smoker and Amazon Delivery Services.
First want to say that I never experienced Amazon Delivery Services before today. Wow! It was awesome! When purchasing my Traeger Pro it came with an offer for free Amazon Delivery Assembly Setup. I had no idea what to expect. They arrived promptly on time and the 2 Amazon super genius technicians delivered and had my Traeger smoker/grill out of the box and constructed in about 25 minutes! Additionally, both guys had suggestions on how to best get started with the Pro 575 They were both knowledgeable of how it worked and even gave me some tips.. I was very impressed with their experience and knowledge. Secondly the Traeger Pro 575 item I purchased is fantastic! I had absolutely no issues establishing wifi connnection from my outside patio, ( I do have one extender in my kitchen 20 yards away). The first process to season the grill before use, went seamlessly. I set all the recommended seasoning temperatures/times directly from the phone app with no issues at all. I immediately decided to purchase a few more items including: the cover, pellets, front folding shelf and the pellet box monitor add on. Looking forward to our first smoking experience tomorrow with some Jalapeรฑo poppers wrapped in bacon. I am pretty sure we may end up taking our natural gas grill out to pasture and shoot it. As well as the Traeger Pro seems to be working, not sure we'll use anything else. Highly recommend the temperature breadth and variable types of pellets. Just need to screw in the pellet monitor in and connect it to the board to receive low pellot notifications. Highly recommend this product. Hopefully will add some pics tomorrow.

Our Favorite Grill
We love this grill. It cooks perfectly, easy to use, versatile, and fun to cook on. Assembly wasnโt too bad (it is a bit heavy) and cleanup is normal for a grill. This is our second grill from Traeger, after 11years the first one just wore out. (We BBQ a lot!)

One of the all time best things I have ever bought
The title is not an exaggeration, i know some people may use a new grill like any other toy. Play with it a lot at first and then a month later is collects dust. This has not been my case, I have found my self using my Traeger 3-4 times a week every week since I bought it. Cleaning it is easy, I use the foil products they sell to keep it fresh. Every couple grill's I throw away the cheap Traeger foil, and all I have to do is scrub the grades in between grills. I do buy Traeger pellets and they are pretty cheep compared to propane, iโm sure you could buy offbrand and they would work. I just have not felt it was worth the gamble over $3 or $4 dollars a bag. last but not least itโs almost a no-brainer to cook with as well, you can Google almost any food, followed by Traeger and they have the exact cook time and temperature on their website. You can cook pretty much anything on it as well, sometimes I just do baked potatoes as a side dish because they come out a lot more fluffy than the oven or microwave. 10/10 would buy a Traeger again

The best you can get
Arrived damaged, contacted Traeger, they were very apologetic, sent an ENTIRE new smoker, not just the damaged parts, out to us, next day. Asked about a return lable, was told to keep the original one for parts or buy the repair parts and have two. New one arrived with Treager gifts inside as an apology. You don't see companies like this often, now the smoker is AMAZING, so simple to use, could feed an army with the amount of meat you can fit inside. Love that I can control from my phone so I go on with my day and check on it no matter where I'm at.

My second Traeger
I own the Ironwood XL and I love it so much I purchased this for my houseboat. It works flawlessly and as expected. It keeps the correct temps with a couple degrees fluctuation. I have had it on the house boat exposed to the elements since I purchased it and it still looks brand new. Well built, easy to assemble, easy to maintain. Would recommend to anyone.

Great product & easy assembly
Packaging was great and assembly took less than an hour. Performed initial burn which took about an hour and now ready for use! Wifi took couple of tries to connect (Tip - if you get an error during wifi connection, rurn the app off and wait about 10-20 min. Mine showed an error, then when I went back into the app after about 10 min, it showed connected)

Straightforward to assemble, easy to use, could use a bit more smoke
I assembled the Traeger Pro 575 single-handed and it was straightforward. Probably the key was the advice in the Assembly Guide to use the packing to prop up the grill when attaching the legs. I didn't find lifting the grill from laying on its side to standing to be overly difficult. I had some trouble getting the WiFi smartphone app to connect to the grill, but realized that my phone had been configured to connect to the router's 5G. Switched to 4G and got connectivity. I get some connection dropouts, presumably because of the grill's distance from the router (and several intervening walls). The hooks in the back to hang the upper rack when not in use are the wrong spacing. They are too wide apart such that only one hook can engage the rack. The other hook is blocked by a rack wire. There is decent smoke at lower temps like 225F (which makes sense), but very little smoke at say 350F. I'll probably get a smoke tube and also experiment with different pellets (using Traeger BBQ Select pellets - oak, hickory, and maple mix). Even though the advertised weight is over 100 lbs, it's been reasonably easy to move it from my garage to the driveway for grilling. I haven't tried to move the grill over soft ground, though. The porcelain-coated wire racks have been easy to clean, which is a big plus. The interior has a few unavoidable nooks and crannies, but overall it's also easy to wipe down/clean.
