This is the real deal! If you love eating real New Orleans Muffaletta sandwiches then you must have this olive salad.

I love this same by brand name only product in smaller glass jars. This was a waist of money. Not in glass jar as shown . It is a white plastic. It taste different , different oil? Different manufacturing facility? Different ingredients? Flavors leaching from the plastic? I don't know , but it sucks. I tried again for the 4th time today, still bad, had side by side comparison with smaller glass Biscoli olive salad . It is not the same product. I should of listened to the other reviews. You who said this was good, I wish you were here to take it because it is going in the trash.

I order this product regularly for use in my restaurant. The taste and quality is superb. The shipping packaging is not adequate to prevent leakage of the the olive oil it is packed in.

I keep muffaletta in the refrigerator all the time. This giant jar, for home use, lasts quite a while. I transfer it to two tall gasket-sealed canisters (think spaghetti canisters about 4"w x4"d x12"tall) the height and narrowness allow the oil to cover the olive salad all the times, less air contact. Add this to pasta salad or potato salad. I make instant gazpacho with a couple of tablespoons in a glass of V8 juice. You could also make the namesake sandwich, a Muffaletta!! You really need to try this.

We discovered Boscoli Olive Salad on a trip to New Orleans several years ago. We put it in our salad as part of the dressing and it really makes the salad amazing. We've tried some other olive salad mixes, but none come up to the flavor of Boscoli.

We purchased this olive salad to make 75-80 muffuletta sandwiches for a gathering. One of these large containers did the job (plus 4 pounds each salami, capicollo, mortadella & provolone and 15-12" baquettes. Many, many compliments. Also delicious on pasta.

This is in a PLASTIC jar, Not a glass jar as shown. There is a lot of oil in this salad. 1 1/2 inch of oil sitting on top, even after stirring. good price for what you get, Flavor is pretty good. could use more olives.
