I wanted to write a review because the picture used for product does not do it Justice. I have attached a picture of Violet Storm so that you can really see how beautiful this color is! I use robe as towel when I shower not as covering over pjs. Robe is VERY absorbent and comfortable. I am a size 18, 220lbs, hourglass shape, 40G chest, and got the XL-XXL. It fits really well especially around chest area. I think this size would be appropriate for 18-22. I can close almost all the way to the other side so there is lots of room to play with if someone has a bigger body. Incredible value for the price! Just as nice as my last robe which was double the price! Washed well with no pilling. Highly recommend!!

I was looking for a bath robe that would feel like a towel but not be too bulky or hot. After reading some of the reviews, I proceeded with caution and bought a white robe. To address some of the comments that almost kept me from purchasing: 1. This robe is not too thick or too thin. It is a perfect, high-quality towel weight. It's not fluffy, and it's not a dish towel. It's right in between. 2. This robe does not have a bunch of frays. If it does fray in the wash, snip them! But mine arrived in great condition and washed well. 3. This robe is true to size, but has extra room...because it's a robe. I wear a XXL in clothing, so I bought the XL/XXL and it's a perfect fit. 4. This robe is very absorbent. After I wash my hair (which is long) it doesn't soak the neck of the robe, which is nice. This is a great product. You'd spend a lot more money at Lands End or a department store for this robe. Been needing to replace 2 old terry robes for longer than I care to think about, but the stores just don't stock them anymore. If, by chance, you do find a good one, the price is ridiculous. I still think this price is ridiculous, but so is everything else these days ;^) Had a slight chemical smell when it arrived, a quick trip thru the washer & dryer took that out. I was leery of there being only 2 sizes available, as I'm a big fellow, but this one covers everything & then some; a bit oversize, if anything, but that's not an issue - I have no doubt it will shrink some over time. Nice & soft against the skin coming out of the shower, my old robes were quite scratchy. I'll be ordering another one soon for a backup. UPDATE 7/30/13: After the second trip thru the wash, the stitching at the end of the belt tie has come unraveled. Pretty sure I can fix it, but the point is I shouldn't have to. Robe just lost a star for that little snafu. ANOTHER UPDATE 11/2/13: Liked the first one so much, I bought a 2nd one...which the wife decided was just perfect for her, & in her color too. So, I guess I'll be ordering yet a 3rd robe for myself. But this does show that the L/XL size can be a good fit for shorter folks, if you're a bit big around the middle (& you know who you are).

Warm and fluffy and probably best of all, great color options! -We picked this as a finalist on our short list of robes (there are so many to pick from!) and figured at this price we had nothing to lose. It shipped fast via Prime and immediately upon opening we were pleased. The fit looks exactly like the video demo shows and the fluff and warmth is just what we wanted - it's not thin as a towel, nor as thick as a bear-fur coat. The warmth and comfort after showering has been reviewed highly in our house and we'd not hesitate to get one again when needed. In sum, great price, great color options, good quality, cut and fit just like advertised.

Great robe! Cream terry cloth with good medium weight, not too heavy, not too thin. Belt long enough to tie a nice square knot. Great coverage at bust and legs. Fabric heavy enough that it doesn't slip or flop apart. Length at mid-calf. Launders well, no shrinking in width or length. Terry cloth has very few pulled threads from daily wear. Warm enough for wearing around the house in winter (January 2016). Not quite as thick as a hotel/spa robe, but I find those almost too puffy. This is much better for daily wear. The price was fabulous--between $50-60. When I need another one, I'm going to buy the same robe again. It's on clearance sale now. I purchased this a robe to wear outside when I go in my hot tub in the winter/fall time when it is colder outside. At the time I purchased this robe I also purchased two others (3 total) from TowelSelections that are all cotton terry robes. My purpose for this was that I go in the hot tub almost every day, so I wanted a supply of robes without doing the laundry and wasn't sure exactly what size and how well they would dry me off and hold up over time. The three different robe collections that I purchased were Magnolia Collection, Lily Collection, and Jasmine Collection. This robe that I am writing about is form the Magnolia Collection and the color I purchased was desert sand. The color of the robe exactly matched the color shown online when I purchased. It is listed as a lightweight robe along with the robe that I purchased from the Lily Collection. As far as I can tell after wearing both of them 3 to 4 times the only real difference from the Magnolia Collection (this robe) and the Lily Collection is just the collar. This robe had a Kimono style collar while the Lily Collection had a shawl style collar. They are both listed as lightweight, but in comparison to the towel wraps that I purchased for the summer months, some of those terry towels felt paper thin, while this bathrobe was more of a medium thickness that I liked. That being said the other robe that I purchased from the Jasmine collection was listed as a heavier robe and is differently thicker than the two robes that I got from the Magnolia and Lily Collection. This robe does do a good job of drying me off and I don't need an additional towel. I also purchased different size robes among the three I purchased. Both this robe and the one from the Lily Collection where size X-Large/XX-Large and the one from the Jasmine collection was one size smaller at Large/Extra-Large. FYI: I am male, 6 ft tall and typically wear a large size shirt. This robe along with the other one that was the same size, different model robe, are a little bit too big on me. I picked "fit as expected" when writing this review as I knew that it would likely be a bit baggy since it is a size larger then I normally wear for a shirt. After trying on on three robes, I think that the one size smaller would have been a better fit for me (Large/Extra Large). The only issue is with the bagginess, the length on my leg and arm are perfect (see photo). I actually don't mind the extra size since I use the robe to completely dry myself after getting out of the tub. Since getting robe, wearing it and sending it through the washer/drier 3 to 4 times it has held up well and still looks like new. (see photo)

At first, I was thrilled with this bathrobe! A good, thick terry cloth bathrobe is hard to find, and my mom purchased this as a Amazon gift for me for Christmas 2016. I specifically wanted a robe longer than my knees for coming out of the shower, going to the hot tub, etc. I wanted Terry Cloth and NOT fleece since it needed to be absorbent but not a static-magnet (we have pets, so static is a real problem with the pet hair). It also needed to be soft because I get migraines and my skin gets very sensitive. My robe is my go-to item of clothing; worn almost everyday, it's my version of my happy place or security blanket. So yeah--I'm picky. Pulling this out of the package, I thought I had finally found a robe that could fulfill all my wishes! It's not so. Not three months later, and this bathrobe is practically falling apart. Not at the seams, but the fabric itself! There are long loops everywhere, which they tell you to carefully pull back what you can and trim the rest. There are no holes yet, but I'm convinced that I'm going to need another robe by Christmas of next year. That's a BIG letdown. I ordered a size-up and I love how the sleeves are big and warm, the belt snug and pockets deep. It could be a luxurious robe if they only used a better quality of fabric. If only...I'll have to keep looking for my dream robe.

Great terry cloth robe and the color is even better than pictured. This is the 2nd time I’ve purchased one of these robes.

Todo excelente, calidad, tiempo, calidad. Pedi una, y la regrese porque estaba pequeña o justa. sin problema me hicieron la devolución. La pedí nuevamente en la talla correcta y estoy muy contenta. La recomiendo al 100. Muy cómoda.

Late in rewriting original review... TERRIBLE quality as most of the terrry cloth has come undone. Snags and threads hanging everywhere. Purchased extra small as I followed online measurements. I usually wear a small and there was ample room well fitting and warm cream colour
