Durable water sealer
Outstanding product . I have a pool liner as a pond liner so when I put a hole in it chipping ice I used this and walla no more leak . Put another hole chipping ice again last winter so I will have to clean weed and plant and drain to patch but fully expect another no leak experience. Just wish it came in white . Works so well I used it to seal the seams on porch roof . Drys fast and application is pretty easy.

Dries black, but turns light grey when it gets wet and does not stick well
I purchased this item to paint and seal 2 small concrete ponds, one of which had developed a leak due to a hairline crack. Both ponds had been previously painted black years ago using pool paint. I bought this black Neopond Sealant and painted the ponds after thorough cleaning and drying. I applied two coats each using a roller as well as a brush for edges and corners. The sealant goes on grey but dried to black. I was going to put additional coatings a week later, but few days later, we had heavy rains and the pools filled about 3-4 inches. The part under water had turned light grey just like when the paint was applied originally. Above the waterline, the paint remained black. Also, I was concerned about if the paint would adhere to the pond as after I finished painting, I had paint all over my hand. What concerned me was that I was able to easily peel the paint off of my hands without water or any kind of solvent. I just applied another coat of paint to one of the ponds to use up what was left in the container. Before I applied the paint, I noticed that I was able to peel off little of the paint from the pond. I was going to buy another gallon of this paint to apply 2-3 more coats, but I have decided to paint over it with Flex Seal, which I have used before with success for other things. I wish that I had gone with Flex Seal for the ponds to begin with. Now I'm just hoping that painting Flex Seal over Neeopond Sealant is going to work ok.

Better than expected and well worth th emopney
I wanted to wait until I fully used this before I made a review, an di have to say that the experience is an overall positive one. Firstly, I ordered the wrong product, initially. A quick call to the manufacturer and some guidance about my project steered me in the proper direction. I have a homemade concrete waterfall, covered with thoroseal, that runs into my koi pond, and it cracked over time. Repairing the cracks every spring was getting boring. Prepping the old, dirty surface via a wire wheel and some etching compound, then covering it with 2 coats of the primer made for an easy application. I applied with a chip brush, and the first coat took a long time, the following 3 coats much easier as I was going over half-cured rubber instead of concrete. Due to the weather and my work schedule, I had to apply 1 coat roughly every day, with the final 2 on a Sunday (my only day off work). After letting it fully cure for 5 days, the rubber coating has adhered well, is thick and smooth, and the waterfall is happily churning away, which makes my koi happy. The one-gallon bucket I purchased easily coated my roughly 25-square foot waterfall for several layers, giving me at least a 30-mil thickness with lots of flex. If you follow the instructions, you shouldn't have any difficulties.

Started peeling off of our small water fountain pond
I was really needing a solution to the leak we had in our small water fountain pond and our backyard. Other items like flex seal did not work so we purchased the liquid rubber neon pond waterproof item. I wanted to ensure there wasn't going to be any issues with leaking so I put four coats of it on waiting each time between layers. It didn't work and the pond when it filled up still would end up leaking and now after 8 months I noticed that it is peeling off of the pond surface. So disappointing considering how much it cost.

It’s great but Amazon never delivered.
Finally found a product to stop up leaks in seams of pond liner. It was very late arriving as Amazon kept notifying me it was on the way but it never came. Ordered a refund from Amazon and went straight to seller. It arrived within 3 days. Only tricky thing is finding enough drying time between rainstorms. It takes 72 hours to cure. I have yet to find out if it works for sure but it looks like it is covering holes and gaps nicely. Wish I had this years ago. I used single use brushes. Fairly simple. Just messy but it does wash off if you wash immediately. I used disposable gloves which worked really well.

research all pond repair methods beforehand
I’m not very impressed with this product. It says if you use it with a primer that it won’t peel and then it’ll seal cracks in a pond liner vs replacing the whole liner.

Works as advertised, easy and quick to apply.
This product is very easy to apply. I brushed it onto a cement pond that was leaking and crumbling. Brushed it clean first then brushed it on. Was dry enough for recoat by the time the first coat was completed. The pond held water soon after.

Does not work
Terrible product. Followed manufacturer’s instructions for application and curing time and it still peeled off within days.

This is a good protective sealant
I use this plant friendly pond sealant to seal the inside of planter pots, even though I weatherproof the outside of pots with either colour spray or clear coat spray. This prolongs the life of garden pots tremendously, in the long run saving money. Also, coat the inside of hollow pedestals, bird baths, etc. Anything in the garden with a hollow.

Expensive but it works
I have an old fiberglass fish pond, 16' x 10' x 2.5'. It had many problems holding water so I used spray foam for the while thing and once cured, painted the whole surface with two coats or more. Pond no longer leaks.

Actually works
Creates a rubbery layer suitable for stocked ponds. I’d suggest a primer coat. I thought it would soak into concrete but it doesn’t. It has formed a membrane layer on top of the concrete much like spraying 5-6 layers of plasti-dip. So far it has help up as a pond liner.
