OXO Tot 2-In-1 Go Potty - Teal

We did child led potty training so no actual training involved he just went from nappy to pants, a few accidents and we were done. But we do have a toddler seat on the loo and he won't use a toilet without. I was also a bit nervous about being out and about and wanted a solution that would work as a potty if there was no loo nearby and a seat for a loo if that was an option. Obviously doing child led meant our little one was probably older than traditional potty trained children he was about 3 3/4 at time of purchase. Inital thoughts when it arrived was that it was very small and I was worried it wouldn't work for us. It is very easy to flip out the legs to seated potty position and is very sturdy, he had no trouble sitting on it. Though he is still yet to use it as a potty. So I can't say if the bags are good or not. Then you press the bottons again you can flip the legs out so the seat straddles an adult loo. This works extremely well and it doesn't slip or slide on the loo seat. Lift him up, pop him on and make sure he shuffles right back and we are all good wee goes down and not everywhere. Quick wipe down with some loo roll and fold it back up and pop it in its handy storage bag, that also protects your bag if there has perhaps been a bit of an accident and you can't completely sanitise until you get home. It is ridiculously easy to clean. I just give it a regular wipe down. It's a nice compact size and fits nicely into my backpack, I slide it into the laptop compartment so again it has a bit of separation from the rest of my bags contents. I did almost buy the little suitcase contained style portable potty but I am glad I went with this as its one less thing to remember or to lose and if we need to dash out in a hurry I always have it as it lives in my bag and I think it will be useful for a good while yet as a toddler loo seat.

We had already progressed well with potty training with a larger non-folding child training seat at home. However, inevitably, some 15 minutes into a 1 hour car journey we were alerted that it was time to sit on the throne, and we realised that we had no plan for dealing with such situations! Having crossed that hurdle, that evening we sought solutions and came across the oxo tot potty, which we bought to keep in the car with the fantacy that we would never need to use it. It's now been used a number of times, most often we use it as a seat on adult toilet when we're out and about and it's actually small enough to pack in a bag to carry out with us. And for the small number of emergencies when an adult toilet hasn't been in range to plastic bags have performed well, and allow easy and clean disposal. For the occasions when travelling by car when there hasn't been a bin in the immediate vicinity we put the bag in another zip-lock bag to ensure secure containment of the cargo. The seat has two rubber grips to hold a plastic bag on the seat. These don't hold it well, but without much trouble are not really necessarily. The seat is smaller than other, which makes it ideal for travel, but I recommend a larger non folding seat for use at home. Nevertheless, on the go potty training is solved!

Bought initially to help with potty training. Great stability, low to the ground to encourage good posture but enough clearance. Easy to wrap a small bin liner around, can put in tissue to capture urine if you wish. Now the little one is trained, this is great for keeping in the car/pushchair for being out and about. Comes with drawstring bag for storage. So useful.

Hands down best potty training / kid travel purchase. Looked at the potette too but this seems better suited for boys and has the non-slip grip for when you are using it as a toilet seat. Used it with the non-branded bags and it works great. When other parents see it out and about they have asked about it and a few people we know have since bought one. It's handy to whip out when you need it, especially in the early days of potty training. It folds up small and fits in the laptop pocket of the baby bag we carry about (just a normal rucksack). One niggle, the plastic storage bag wasn't great and broke at the bottom. I patched it up with sellotape. You don't need it really but it helps slide it into the laptop pocket! It's so handy when you're out not near a toilet or travelling in the car. Think we will be using it in a travel capacity for many years to come.

Lovely travel potty, practical and looks good too. Folds down easily. Not very high so not great if you have a taller child! Mu daughter is 4 and about 90cm and fine for her but might be a bit too low as she grows. I am a fan of oxo products.

Absolutely brilliant. I take this everywhere with me and its been a lifesaver. My daughter loves it, it folds flat and it is so light weight but robust

I bought this to take on holiday with us as my granddaughter was going to start potty training. It was easy to carry, light weight and robust. I am happy to say she has cracked the potty training and this is now used whenever she goes out as it folds up into its own bag and then fits inside her changing bag. Very pleased with this purchase.

Absolutely brilliant! What a genius idea! My 2 year old hasn’t had an accident since we bought this. It’s great for on the go and out at restaurants. She wouldn’t use an ordinary child’s toilet seat cover but because she has used this as a ‘potty’ she has also been using it as a toilet seat cover too! You can use the bags and dispose of them or use without if on the beach or in the woods etc. I would give it 6 stars if I could as it’s fantastic and I can’t fault it at all.

This has been one of the best purchases I’ve made for my little one. We have brought it everywhere we go, amusement parks, farms, trips. It makes potty training and bathroom experiences a lot less stressful.

Leggero, maneggevole, robusto, pratico. È stata la mia salvezza per poter viaggiare leggero ed evitare un disastro. Mia figlia di due anni e mezzo aveva appena lasciato il pannolino, era impensabile di portare il suo vasino preferito, troppo ingombrante! Non era neanche il momento di tornare indietro al pannolino, quindi ho deciso di comprare questo vasino da viaggio, che ofre la possibilità di usarlo anche come riduttore sul water. Però la sola idea di mettere un sacchetto di plastica non mi andava un gran che... Quindi, arrivati al posto ho messo sotto un piccolo contenitore (Qualsiasi contenitore va bene, anche il vassoio delle carote...) E problema risolto. Consigliabile al 100%.

Recomiendo este producto ya que es muy muy robusto. He tenido otro más caro que esté y se rompieron las patas. Este aguanta.

Easy to transport, convenient and really good tool to fit our potty training

Everything was good quality. Light weight. Comes with 3 free plastic for pepe and popo. The storage bag i dont like i wish they make it into a nylon bag so it will last longer and u can wash multiple times and not plastic as the item is expensive. Will fit inside the car if toddlers wants to do it inside the car.
