Sensor
Works as expected as long as it is connected properly. Look at t b e diagram on the box because red is not connected to the hot. In this case it is the black.

This a good dusk to dawn sensor
I have purchased this item before and was happy with the first one which is still working 3 years later. Wiring diagram provided could be better, but overall simple installation. The survey asked about "Motion Detection". This is NOT a motion detector, but a dusk to dawn sensor. Works great, fair price.

Short wires
Quality was good, but the wire leads were much shorter than I expected, only about 5 inches. So be prepared to splice on more wire if you have a long run. My front yard three light post needed about 12 inches.

Photocell does not work
When wiring the device as the limited instructions suggest the control did not work properly. When connecting the black wire to line or hot, the red wire to the load, and white wire to neutral, the load energized in the daylight instead of shutting off. When I simulated a dark situation, by covering the photocell it shut off the load instead of tuning it on. Just the reverse of what should happen. I read in other reviews this happened to others. Interchanging the red and black wires caused the control to turn on and off about every minute. So I sent the control back for a refund. I would not recommend.
