Strongest suction, reliable, sealed HEPA filtration, easy to self-service, "hush" mode, durable
The 1,200 Watt motor truly provides best-in-class suction. In use it is lifting the carpet, and to me it really can provide single-pass vacuuming. That is really deep-cleaning the carpet. The vacuum is used for commercial use, and I mean 1.5 to 2 hours daily. So, go through a lot of their bags. Their AH10243 allergen bag traps everything, and doesn't tear in the bag chamber unlike some cheaper made products. The HEPA filter snaps on along the side of the bag chamber and is easy to clean and change. There is this Hexagard carbon filter that mounts just inside before the HEPA filter, too, that is supposed to help reduce odor from the vacuum. What I really like is that Hoover made is super simple to remove the brushroller to clean it. No need to go hunting for a screwdriver and fear of losing screens. The original belt still looks new. Finally, there is a "hush" quiet mode which slows the motor and cuts the operating noise while vacuuming around people. It DOES reduce suction; however, it is a very thoughtful feature. Bag, belt, brush, filter changes are super easy. Tools onboard are easy to get to, and the hose is plenty long. If needing a longer hose that is what the cannister vacuum is for. The body seems build sturdy, too. So with that sturdiness and all those tools onboard, the penalty is weight. When tilted back there is more weight in hand (true of all these tools-onboard vacuums). And the generous 40 feet cord means you are carrying 20 Lbs. Luckily, there is a convenient carry handle built into the lower cord hook, and it does help a lot. Overall, a very thoughtfully designed vacuum that just keeps on working. The vacuum sucks up everything. Isn't that what a good, solid vacuum is supposed to do? I guess that is why Hoover is a verb over in Britain where they say they are Hoovering their carpet. UPDATE: 7-15-25--still going strong. Broke a piece off something called the wand clip, but it has no effect on daily use. If you compare this to Windsor, Pro Team, and Sanitaire, this vacuum is a bargain to purchase and even more so with the maintenance. I only wish the handle weight in hand was slightly lighter.

Excellent commercial vacuum!
This thing is built like a tank. It has Excellent suction power. We have been in the cleaning business for over 30 years and this vacuum is the best hard surface floor cleaner we have ever used and we have used many. It is heavy but I knew that when I bought it. In order to be durable, powerful and tough, it is going to be a little heavy. We have tried the Dyson, the Shark and other lightweights which work well for a while. They just donโt hold up in a commercial environment. The onboard tools and suction hose do a great job as well. An extension tube would be helpful to keep from having to bend over when using it on the floor or up high. This Hoover commercial vacuum does the job it was built for.

Almost Great
This vacuum has some features I love & hate. As a custodian/Bldg. mngr I use a vacuum daily & once weekly on an 80'ร40' room. It has plenty of suction but the hose holder is easily broken. Notice sharp edges on lower hose keeper. The length of the detachable suction hose is slightly short for my reach & the tools are cumbersome to use & store...but they do their job. I love the cord...and how it's attached as a pigtail. I HATE that the brush roll does NOT stop when you pull the wand to suction thru the hose. A running brush roll can easily damage carpeting & hardwood. "ProTeam" vacs have brush roll cut-offs when you use the wand & when you put the vac in its upright position. Overall I'd rate this vacuum an 8 of 10...though I would not buy it again.

Vacuum Research....
I am very pleased with this vacuum. I like to research anything that I will spend my money on especially if it is over $50. I looked at all the most popular brands and vacuums to replace my old (+15yr) Eureka vacuum. I knew that I did not want a bagless type of vacuum as I prefer not to deal with emptying dust and such. I also wanted a simple vacuum that would also be sealed so the allergens and dust would not be blown back into my home. So, after much research and consideration, this led me this Hoover Commercial vacuum. I really like the look, long cord, simplicity of build and troubleshoot, and that it is actually lighter than my previous vacuum. It does exactly what was built for. No frills or gimmicks. In addition, it has two seals of approval from the Carpet & Rug Institute which the other vacuums do not have according to my research, so that means it was tested by an outside organization. I am most satisfied with this product so far. It works on both my rugs and hardwood floor. I would highly recommend this product and even though it is commercial, carpet and floors are still the same to me. I also like that it was assembled here in the USA as i try to support my fellow Americans! Hope this helps!

Don't buy if you're planning to use the hose and wand.
Lets start with the positive - very good suction, maneuvers well, has a loop type handle - easier to pull. However - two significant oopses one of which can make it unacceptable for many - first - not a big deal but uncomfortable for sure - you have to unwind the power cord to use the hose / wand and as I'm at it if you wind it the way it's designed - on a short loop, it's very bulky (perhaps it's why the pictures are always showing the vac without the power). Second - this may be a deal breaker for many - the hose stretches with ease only 3'4"-3'6", after that you start feeling the pressure backwards. You can still stretch it to approx 4ft but it's becoming very uncomfortable to use the wand. You can further stretch it to approx 5ft but it's almost impossible to work the wand at this length. Pass the 5' the you will pull or tip the vacuum. If doing stairs, assume you'd be carrying the vac, not a big deal for me but I'm in gym 3x a week. For most people this will be super aggravating. Also the69db is for the lower setting. In full power the noise level is about 30% higher (my guess around 90db). Too bad I have to guess as the manufacturer does not give you this information and I posted this question but received no response (because it get noisy, of course). Personally I don't care for as long as it delivers great suction and it does. The hose rigidness however disqualifies the vac from more than one star. Add on top the cord winding on short loop which blocks the wand and the one star might be even too much. But if you're looking for just the vac with good suction - this one pulls coins without hesitation - go for it. Although a bit of warning here - as it picks up stuff perfectly from bare floors (nothing left and nothing spilled behind the vac), it does not work well on entry floor mats with w groves. Leaves sandy stuff in groves and requires using wand to get it cleaned. For one mat in residential setting not a big deal maybe but for commercial use rather a deal breaker, I'd say.

I'll never buy a consumer vacuum again!
Most modern vacs are designed for hard floors with a few carpets and lots of animal hair. We have none of that. Our home is all plush quiet carpet. This machine is a dream. It sounds lovely. Quiet mode is just that. It doesn't leave tire tracks. It moves effortlessly. Yes a little heavier but it feels light when underway. Long cord. Truth is, it is much easier to wrap a detachable cord around my arm and drape it on the dedicated hook. No fun to wind one around the machine like all our prior models. Don't hesitate. It is a little intimidating with its Home Depot orange cord. Once I started to use it, it was instant love :)

A Great Vacuum Cleaner, Solid Performance
This is a great vacuum, the second one of this model I have purchased. (One for upstairs, and now another for down). Heavy, solid, a power horse of a cleaner. The only complaint is the hose is rather short, has been continuously problematic, and it does not have a power head or floor attachment as other regular household Hoovers generally have. I

Too Heavy, too loud yet not strong.
The machine is well built but that is it. The weight is quite heavy and it is tiring after just a few minutes of using it. The sound is so intense from the rotating brush and the motor but doesn't pick visible crumbs and dirt. Have to go over the debris multiple times to pick them up. Tried all the settings and power levels to see if it made a difference but no effect. The indicator for the vacuum bags capacity is also not responding. The gauge was still solid green but the bag was already about to burst. Maybe a faulty until. I bought it in November 2023 and I trusted the brand and didn't start using it until New years so I am out of the return window. I might contact Hoover and see if they can replace or refund as this unit doesn't live up to its name.

Good unit!
Overall I was impressed by the design and performance. I bought this as a replacement for a Tornado CV30 which I have used for years, however parts were difficult to get and very expensive. As some have pointed out, the hoover is heavier but I donโt consider it a deal breaker!

Great Vacuum
Best commercial vacuum I've owned. Used in our building daily for the past few months. Cleans in the first pass. Even on the boost setting this vacuum is surprisingly quiet compared to other vacuums.

4 uses and already broke down
Used this 4 times in a very small building and this park broke which makes the wheel come off. For the price of this matching it shouldn't be breaking any time soon.
