Be prepared for noise and high electricity bill. *by H***T on Reviewed in the United States on May 17, 2020* I made a cold plunge out of a very large industrial size chest freezer and purchased this water pump to help keep my water sanitized by keeping it agitated and help prevent growth of microorganisms in my water. To be honest, I don't know if this is an effective means of sanitation but this product review is about the performance of the product rather than whether it fulfilled the use I intended it for. As a water pump it works great. If your primary aim is for a powerful water pump, this will not disappoint- it is surprisingly powerful for its compact size. What might be an issue though is the wattage. Be prepared for forking out a good electricity bill if you intend on using this around the clock on its max setting because it uses 70 Watts! Another possible drawback for you to all that power is the noise. Though it wasn't an issue for me due to where I was using this pump, it is quite noisy so be prepared for that! If you intend to use it for a outside water pond, it won’t be an issue.In summary: powerful pump, works great, it’s loud, and uses high wattage.EDIT: been using for weeks and I’ve been continued to be been impressed.
