Best colander i have had , great for rice.

Excellent and very sturdy

Initially I thought this colander was on the small side when I unpacked it but I needn't have worried. I bought it because I was fed up with straining rice and see loads of grains going to waste because most colanders have large holes, great for pasta and veg but very wasteful when it comes to rice. This colander works a treat for rice, no waste. With regards to size, no issue, I boiled four portions of rice (300g uncooked) and had no issues regarding space. Also this colander has feet so you can stand it in the sink when you use it, it's brilliantly designed. It's very easy to clean also. Money well spend! Thank you.

I wanted a larger size colander with a small raised base and side handles. This ticks those boxes. The small holes make it good for rinsing smaller foods while the large size overall means it's good for bigger quantities of large-leafed items like cabbage for example. Seems sturdy and well made.

I have all the sizes of these colanders Excellent quality so easy to clean. Had to buy another one just in case they sell out. I know rather sad. :-) Highly recommend to one and all.

The size is just right been using it everyday since I purchased it

This is a very sturdy and robust little colander and is perfect for what I bought it for, to drain water from cooked rice. I don't think it's particularly suitable for washing rice prior to cooking as some grains will tend to fall through the holes however once cooked and the rice was swollen no grains can escape. I'm impressed with the build quality of the colander, it's easy to use and clean and should last a lot longer than the wire mesh colander I was using before.
