It's charging just fine

Is this order as described? Well, let’s see (in my opinion)… ~~~My FindingsPackaging:Charger arrived in small box packaging (not referring to the shipping box). It also includes an adapter piece for a larger charging port hole.Quality/Durability:Despite ordering this charger due to its stated recommended use for my specific laptop model, it did NOT work. At first, I thought there may have been a short in the cord because the connectivity was glitchy (it kept bouncing back and forth between recognizing/accepting the charger and not recognizing/accepting the charger. As well as, any slight movement of the cord produced the same effect. HOWEVER, whenever my child uses this in their totally different laptop, there is absolutely no issues with the cord— it charges effectively and efficiently. I do not know how long this will last, as we have not even had it two weeks as of yet. *Other:Thus far, my child has had no problems with this cord overheating or sparking with their laptop.~~~Concluding ThoughtsThis cord is hit or miss— it may or may not work for your laptop (even if type listed). However, it does work if you can figure out if it pairs correctly with your laptop. While it doesn’t work for me, I will be keeping it because it works just fine for my child (who also needed a replacement cord). So I’m not too disappointed; I just wish the specs were correct.

It charges well and it was a reasonable price. Very affordable.

I lost my original cord to my laptop, which is a fairly new Dell. I tried some old cords/chargers I had but none would charge the battery. They would power up the laptop but once you unplug it, it would die. So when I ordered this, I was afraid it would be the same thing. I was very pleased when I got it and it powered up the laptop and charged the battery. The other great aspect was it came with an adapter. Some Dell computers have the large hole on the side for the power cord and others have a small hole. This came with an adapter so it would work on either. Great product and highly recommend as a replacement or backup cord for travel, etc.
