SKI Innovations Paw Boss Wash for Dogs

We love this product! Our Shih Tzu learned really quickly how to use it! Comes In very handy after walks outside. Not only does it wash dirt away it washes germs they may pick up on their little paws! And I love clean paws in my house! I love the fact it’s easy to use, offer clean water for each paw, has covers for plugs, and keeps clean/dirty water separate. It is a little bulky, but we love it and would definitely recommend and buy it again! Update:1 year later....we still love the Paw Boss! We use it everyday, and take it on trips with us! Still works great and we are so glad someone invented this! Keeps our little guys white feet sparkling clean!

For most dog they will not dip their paw into the hole for sure. Good idea but just doesn’t work for us

This really does a great job in getting my dog's paws clean. The nubby pad at the bottom of the hole in which you place your dog's paw gets in the hard to reach spots I can't get with a wash cloth. There is one problem; my dog absolutely hates it. I have an 85 pound Siberian Husky who does like having his feet "messed with" so getting his feet into the cleaning compartment is always a struggle. I have found moving the entire box closer to whichever paw I need to wash next is easier than trying to move him. You are also supposed to be able to do several washings before you have to dump all the dirty water out and refill entirely with clean water but I have to refill it every time. Due to the fact his paws are so large and get so much dirt and other debris from our yard stuck in them, the nubby pad stays dirty and when I refill the round container with "clean" water is turns brown and takes several refills before it's clear. Still, it's very effective in getting paws clean. I have a stubborn Husky and I don't think he would be happy with any method of paw washing.

It's nice to be able to have a paw cleaning station that can be in the house and doesn't get used as a secondary water bowl. That said there are some issues. The paw cleaning hole could be bigger. My 65# Golden Retriever's paws will fit, but there's little room to move them around. Additionally it's hard to clean. A removable top over the paw cleaning area would be great.

Extremely easy to use. My German Shepherd is 78lbs, and my Siberian Husky is 65lbs, and their paws fit into the cleaning hole no problem. I have read some reviews complaining that the water doesn't go high enough in the hole... my solution is to gently splash the water upward and rinse the dirt downward. In conjunction with this device I have bought a microfiber extreme water dog mat, and a microfiber shammy for cleaning their paws. (See picture). I highly recommend purchasing all three, as the dogs paws will be very wet and dripping. I also have some anti microbial dog shampoo, and put 2 drops into the water when I fill the device. My two dogs are a little apprehensive of the device, but with training it will be awesome! The best way I have found is to back the dog into the hole, so they don't see it. This has cut time off of me individually wiping each paw meticulously until all the dirt is off. I get excited now when I have to clean their paws... Why didn't I buy this sooner?!? I can even travel with it!!! $30 is such a steal for this product!

So, the concept of this dog paw washer isn't bad, the implementation falls short of what it could be. When we first got it we filled it with the water and would guide our dogs paws into the opening to clean them off. Lift, turn, twist the tub and the dirty water leaves and clean water goes into the well. The portion for the dogs paw feels too shallow and you quickly just get tired of manipulating this thing to wash the dogs paws off. we have two golden retrievers and after going through 8 paws you basically need to empty and refill it. Before we knew it, we had stopped using it and just used damp towels. I was hoping for more but it just didn't work out for us.

This product did not work for me at all. It is rather awkward and time consuming with all the tilting. And I do not like the fact that the product cannot be opened up and completely cleaned. The unpopped popcorn didn't work for me. I prefer to use a shallow container of water compared to this. It was definitely a waste of money for me.

I love my paw boss!! I also LOVE that it's made here in the USA!! My dogs, not so much lol. At first they refused to let me use it, then after working with them, and positive reinforcement now they tolerate it. I have a German Shepherd and a Catahoula Leopard dog, their big paws get very dirty playing outside. Before they're allowed off the entry way rug, they get their paws washed, EVERY time. This works so so well and they've gotten used to standing on the rug until I'm done and dry their paws. Be sure to have a towel their, their paws get very wet lol. The directions recommend changing the water every paw, but I do it every two paws, unless they've been digging. Their paws get squeaky clean. I've also noticed theit pads aren't as dry feeling either. I think washing the dirt off helps their paws stay soft and healthy.
