foot AND shoe fitting device, tape measure shows millimeters, inches and UKsizes

Genius invention! I have this device for about 2 months now, and I honestly cannot believe that this product has not been reviewed yet. I have a 2.5 years old daughter, and finding the right shoes for her was always a struggle. It became impossible to take her to the store to try shoes, because she would try 1 pair (at most!) and then cry and want to remove them immediately. So I tried to buy without her, and bring them home. But it did not work either. Even if she was more open to try different shoes at home, it was so difficult to decide whether the shoe is a good fit or too big/small. So, based on the foot measurement from the store, I ended up ordering 10 (!) pairs of shoes from amazon (a couple of brands, different sizes), in a hope that there must be 1 that will fit. When the shoes were delivered and I opened them, it was obvious that there was no correlation between the sizes of different brands - some were not even bigger than my daughters current shoes (although all the shoes were of a bigger size). It was very frustrating - I did not want to try all the shoes on my daughter, or even to show them to her (because her decision will be based on other parameters than good fit), but I had no good idea on how to choose the right one... So I searched and searched... and found this product! I waited patiently for it to arrive and measured all the shoes I had. 2 things became clear: (1) My daughter current shoes are way too small for her, and I felt a really bad mom with letting her to continue to put them. (2) All the new shoes that I ordered were small too. To be precise, some were almost the correct size, but giving that the foot grows so fast, it was obvious that she needs a bigger size. So I returned all the 10 new pairs :) and ordered another 2 pairs of a bigger size. Using my new measurement device it took literally a minute to choose one from the 2 with the correct size. This is the only pair that my daughter saw - she put them on and for the first time during this search - she kept them on! no crying, no fuzzing! just continued like they were on her forever :) I had a chance to use this device again a month later - a day before our cruise to Alaska, I realized that going there with only a sandals is not too smart :) armed with my new measurement device, I headed to the store (ordering was not an option this close to the trip). Picked a couple of models, measured, bought 1 pair. Similar to the first time - worked like magic! She put them on during the cruise, and they were a perfect fit! I cannot express enough how thankful I am for the invention of this device! It just turned my life so much easier, and I'm so much calmer with the knowledge that my daughter wears shoes of a proper fit, and that I have a device to check this fit over time, without trying to receive cooperation from a toddler :) I recommend this to all the parents out there!!!

Best. Thing. Ever. Seriously, anyone who has been shoe shopping with a toddler knows that it is one of the lower circles or hell. Being able to narrow down the correct size before trying to hold down a squirming child and shoving it on their foot is priceless. Best part is I can buy shoes without the toddler in the store and then take a few home to choose the best one. You'll quickly realize how terrible the sizing standards are between brands.

The item functioned as described and gives a fairly accurate measure of a shoe. It it mainly designed for kids shoes, but if you use if on adult shoes you have to subtract the 1/2" that is added. I initially bought it because I was selling a pair of shoes that I could determine the shoe size. It helped me to hone in on what size the shoes were in order to sell them and list them as the right size.

Awesome! Every parent needs this! Kids can't tell you does a shoe fit or not especially when they don't speak yet. With this product you are able to proof it easily to prevent foot problems from wearing too small shoes.

So happy I got this 50% of my child's shoes were too small. Easy to read, easy to use.

Har väntat nu lång tid på beställningen. Skickas tydligen med post Österrike som man inte kan kontakta och paketet går inte att spåra. Tråkigt. Hoppas artikeln kommer fram någon dag. Rekommenderar därför att inte beställa det och man vill ha den inom rimlig tid.

Il prodotto è arrivato con una settimana di anticipo. Una fantastica invenzione! L'unica cosa che non riesco ancora a gestire bene è come misurare le scarpe all'interno perchè dopo che infili l'oggetto dentro, la punta rossa si sposta quindi bisogna tenerla schiacciata con un dito che in una scarpina piccola è un pò complicato. Ma fa bene il suo lavoro.
