Dirty Mouth Organic Toothpowder (1 Ounce (Pack of 1), Black Peppermint Whitening)

I don't write a ton of reviews, usually just on the products I like, this one is no exception to that rule. I LOVE THIS STUFF! I started with their regular tooth powder (the one without charcoal) because I had sensitive teeth and it was becoming so bad I was scared to eat or drink anything to hot or to cold. Additionally I had done some research on the adverse health effects of fluoride on the mouth and body and it's nearly impossible to find ANY toothpaste that does not include fluoride. I also have periodontal disease and have been trying different natural products to reverse or at least stop the progression of the disease. I purchased this tooth powder and after using it for about one month my tooth sensitivity was nearly non existent! I was thrilled to say the least. Not only, were my teeth no longer sensitive, but the periodic bleeding gums stopped, bad breath is no longer an issue and lastly, my teeth were a couple shades whiter by the time I finished the first container!! I cannot sing the praises of this product loud enough! I also was told by my dentist that the pockets in my gums are NOT getting worse. the savings in dental bills and treatments alone makes it worth its weight in gold! I tried a couple other brands but did not like them as well, one was too powdery and didn't last through out the entire time I brushed (about 4-5 minutes) and I had to get more on my brush, the other one had a strange flavor. The dirty mouth toothpowder has a dense enough powder that it picks up a decent amount on the wet brush and lasts the whole duration I brush my teeth, it also has a mild flavor that I think is nice, but my husband says it does taste a little like you would expect clay to taste. one container lasted me about 4 months. I think for the price that this products benefits MAKE IT WELL WORTH the price!!!

My wife has had several health issues that have caused us to have to look for more natural alternatives to the daily products we use, such as toothpaste. I have always been skeptical of toothpowder as to how well it could possibly clean and how it would taste. We get so used to the "cleaning" action of toothpaste that something like a powder that doesn't foam or leave an intense burst of freshness behind, can't possible be cleaning teeth. I have to say that after trying the black peppermint toothpowder I don't think I could go back to toothpaste. My teeth actually felt cleaner. Here are the Pros: 1. Your teeth will definitely feel cleaner 2. It does not have a bad taste 3. Their customer service was very quick and helpful with any questions. 3. It really works! There are a few cons to the product. But nothing that i would make it less than 5 stars over. 1. It can get a bit messy. My sink gets black powder on it if I use the stick provided to apply the toothpowder. 2. The stick provided is a not awkward to use to scoop as it is more like a curved popsicle stick. 3. The container seems like it could be filled a bit more than they fill it. 4. You will want to buy a natural mouthwash if you want that month clean sensation. I bought organic neem mouthwash and it's great with this product. 5. It could spill easily out of the container so don't drop it! They would benefit to put a sealable sifter cap on the container under the lid like some powder foundations have. 6. There weren't any clear usage instructions with the package so I had to look at their you tube video and Google, but it wasn't hard to find. Overall, it is a great product and we liked it so much we bought another one so we didn't have to share and we bought the gum serum. It is worth the price. I was spending $6 A tube on Sensodyne that would only last a couple weeks. So this is a much better alternative. And if it helps with sensitive teeth issues i think we will be using this as regular customers!

I love how my mouth feels after brushing with this product. Sometimes I'll add a small amount of fluoride- free toothpaste to the brush-then dip it into this powder. My teeth feel good and a little brighter since I started using this. I have been using this product for almost 2 yrs and love it. It has the right amount of mint and the powder is fine - this is good because it gets between my teeth and does it's job! Each round lasts me up to 6 months and it's the perfect size for travel-easy to use.

I switched to Primal Life Organics Dirty Mouth Toothpowder to find a cleaner, fluoride-free alternative to traditional toothpaste. When it comes to performance, this product easily earns full marks. The mineral-rich blend of bentonite, kaolin, and French green clays leaves my teeth feeling incredibly polished—almost like I just walked out of a professional dental cleaning. Plus, the nano-hydroxyapatite has done wonders for reducing my overall tooth sensitivity. The only reason I am knocking this down to a 4-star review is the flavor profile. The taste is simply not great. It is highly earthy, chalky, and lacks any of the refreshing sweetness you expect from standard oral care products. While the natural peppermint oil helps mask it slightly, it is still a very stark, bitter adjustment. If you can get past the unpleasant flavor for the sake of excellent dental health and a squeaky-clean finish, it is a fantastic product—just don't expect it to taste like dessert.

I brush twice daily and this container will last me a month and a half. Pros: • It definitely helps with tooth sensitivity • cleans well • seems to keep stains off teeth(as in not whiten but also prevents stains from happening). Cons: • gets all over my sink • sometimes a lil powder goes down throat(I just rinse it out) • not super strong of flavor - sometimes I will wash my tongue, gums and roof of mouth with other toothpaste if it doesn’t feel super fresh. Altogether I like it and have bought it 3x already.

I really wanted to like this, but my teeth don’t feel clean like with another brand tooth powder. Also, you have to be careful to wipe down your sink well after use. Live and learn.

This stuff is amazing! I was very skeptical, but decided to give it a try. I have only used the Black Peppermint. My teeth yellow between hygienist visits. I don't know why. I only drink water and kombucha and don't eat anything that might stain my teeth. With COVID-19, I am having to go 10 months between hygienist visits instead of 6 months, so I was looking for a way to whiten my teeth. After the first use of this tooth powder, my teeth were noticeably whiter. However, they were splotchy. They were whiter in some places and still yellow in other places. After a week of concerted focused brushing daily with the tooth powder, my teeth are beautifully white and smooth as glass. In addition, the Black Peppermint leaves a super clean taste and feeling. Brushing with black tooth powder is a little gross. I have to wash my hands well and rinse my brush really well after brushing. I also have to rinse the sink well and wipe it down with a tissue. I notice some black residue from rinsing my mouth after quite a few rinses. None of this reduces my enjoyment of the product. It's just part of the process. I highly recommend this product.

This is my second time purchasing. Especially when I use my electric toothbrush, my teeth feel like I just returned from the dentist! It is quite different feeling than tooth paste and something to get used to. But I'm sold on the refreshing feeling and knowing it's a better product for my teeth. Also leaves me a few shades whiter :-)

This product does not work- do not buy! It made my teeth look discoloured, until I switched back to my regular charcoal toothpaste.
