Great book for motivation

I recently purchased my second copy of this wonderful book. I have literally read it morning and night for 5 years! The one I originally bought, was finally becoming worn, and someone gave me a gift card, so this is what I chose to buy! Love the devotionals so much! They truly speak to me personally. And of course, I like that always, the author includes recommended Bible verses. I had the regular version of the Jesus Calling book but I much prefer this twice daily one. There’s something extra special about the night time readings. I love the little brief sentence at the bottom that is titled ‘ Before You Turn Out The Light’ - an example of which is: “Finish your day by boasting in the ways I [Jesus] have blessed our relationship through your difficulties.” That is from the February 4th’s Evening devotional. I am such a big fan of this book that I have bought several copies as gifts to friends - especially for ones who are grieving or going through difficult times.

Good devotional!! Bigger than expected (thickness wise) I wanted expecting for my bedside, but I don’t mind. I love the morning and night option though. Always love Jesus callings! :)

The perfect quick way to start and end my daily meditation. I love the scripture references to relate the words directly back to the Bible. I wore out my previous copy after using it for the past 5 years. I highly recommend it to many people and often quote passages to my friends and family when the message is relevant to their situation.

This Devotional Book was given to me by a friend. I liked it so much that I ordered 10 more. Then figured out someone else to send it to. So I ordered it and sent it to another person. This book changes your life. It changes the way you look at things. "The things you look at change when you change the way you look at them." In realizing that life changes take place constantly, we need a constant Companion to walk with us, hold our hand, whisper the way to go and this book helps you realize just how close the "Helper" is. Sarah Young deserves to be recognized for such great way she is allowing herself to be used by God as a vessel. I read each morning and evening. When I miss I make sure I catch up and read and re-read. This book is written in such a way that you learn the scriptures that apply to your situation. Some of them are repeated and that helps you write them in your heart to remember them. Oh, I am so happy to have this book in my possession. Certainly, I am going to order more and pass them on to other people so that they can enjoy the Presence of Jesus every day and every night and all day. He just comes and visits and you know it and you share it with another person or other people who need to know Him. You do not have to say a word. You just know Jesus is with you. This book helps me to realize what I have been missing...but never again. Thank you Sarah Young. You are truly a BLESSING!

I love my Jesus calling and this upgraded version is even better

Having discovered the style in which Sarah has written (God speaking in the first person), I have found a spiritual treasure. We often get “fortune cookies” when we order out Chinese. Inside is usually a little slip of paper with some positive prediction about your future (from some unnamed source!). Sarah has channeled the voice of God—with which she is definitely and accurately in tune. I benefit highly from doing lectio divina around her words—and you will too!

I love this book both inside and out out. The hardcover has a wonderful feel to it and the daily insights from Jesus are so uplifting. An invaluable companion to be read daily. You feel as though Jesus is speaking directly to you.

I begin and end my day with Sarah's writings. I love her i insightfull thoughts presented as if Christ was speaking and couldn't do witnout this guidence. I began my journey with 'Jesus Calling' and will begin the year again with this book. Thank you Sarah and may you enjoy Jesus' Blessings in 2022.

This is a wonderful book and I am so happy with this purchase, it said it was used and in very good shape but it looks soo new outside and in!! Thanks to the seller!! Would definitely buy from them again.
