We started out very small and focussed on only sourcing short-dated or overstocked products from Europe's superfood and wholefood brands. We aren't just sourcing short-dated or overstocked products anymore; we were on the lookout for direct suppliers. Keeping sustainability and fair business dealings close to heart, we have built solid relationships and now have over 50 products, with more being added every month. Focussing on providing superfoods and being honest and transparent has worked well for us, so we'll make sure we keep doing so. Coconuts are highly revered by the local people of Sri Lanka due to their versatility as both medicine and food. The coconuts are hand-harvested to produce coconut milk, coconut flakes, coconut butter, coconut oil and coconut flour. During processing, once the coconut milk has been removed, the remaining pulp is dehydrated and then milled down into a fine flour. With a deliciously nutty aroma and creamy, soft texture, coconut flour can be used for both sweet and savoury recipes.
