Excellent rod
This rod has great sensitivity, flexibility and is very light weight and balance. It is responsibly priced and performs just as good as higher priced rods on the market. I would recommend it to anyone. Used it in Canada walleye fishing it was awesome very sensitive tip performed as well as my as my 150 to 200 dollar rods.

Amazing rod, very durable and sensitive
I got this rod for light bass fishing (6’6 medium) and decided to take it inshore saltwater fishing today and I’m extremely impressed. I felt every bite even from the tiniest of speckled trout and was even able to land a 17in redfish.

Poor quality
The finish has several runs and drips. The end cap of the rod fell off on the first cast. The action on the rod met my expectations. The rod is light and I liked the balance and feel.

My review of the Ugly Stik Carbon Spinning Fishing Rod
I bought the 6'6" 1 pc rod Medium, Fast Action, paired it with a Shimano Miravel 2500HG Spinning Reel on 8lbs mono. I took it out and did catch a decent sized Bluefish. PROS: 1) I like how it felt in hand. 2) Provided nice feedback CONS: 1) It felt like I had to put more effort into reeling in line than I normally do. Like it was fighting against the guides. 2) Yes, it is under $100.. But I think it should be more of a $50-$60 rod. 3) The reel seat will get loose on you, you will have to tighten it up after about 40 - 50 casts. All this was experienced on the first and only day of use. Looking back I wish I would have gotten something different.

Seems used
Multiple chips in paint & scuff marks on rod. Definitely doesn't look new, no serious damage but would have liked a clean rod for the price!
