The base is not heavy enough for the umbrella. The first rain storm with winds and the umbrella blew over. Rain storm came a week after my return expired. Would not recommend this product unless you have a very small and light umbrella. Review: Great value! - Works as designed - we’ve purchased 3 now. Holds the umbrella down well, easy set up and has only blown over in very high winds (could probably weight it down more for those instances). ## Features - Material: Resin. The base is not heavy enough for the umbrella. The first rain storm with winds and the umbrella blew over. Rain storm came a week after my return expired. Would not recommend this product unless you have a very small and light umbrella. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great value! *by A***R on October 11, 2025* Works as designed - we’ve purchased 3 now. Holds the umbrella down well, easy set up and has only blown over in very high winds (could probably weight it down more for those instances). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice looking umbrella base. *by M***. on August 3, 2020* We bought this base for a small umbrella that we took to a cottage to use on the front deck to provide shade in the late evening so we could sit outside. It's pretty hot otherwise. It was light enough that I could put in the car and move to the deck. It worked fine with the small unbrella. It is not that heavy so you can not leave it up all the time as it will blow over with a hard breeze. So we only rolled up the umbrella if we were outside and sitting under it. I don't think it is suitable for an umbrella that you want to leave up all day. The base is not heavy enough, but it was fine for our application. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/187356142-sunnyglade-18-22-lbs-heavy-duty-round-antiqued-patio-umbrella](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/187356142-sunnyglade-18-22-lbs-heavy-duty-round-antiqued-patio-umbrella) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-11-07*
