does this burn once applied to a clean face?

It stings if you have hormonal acne (like myself). I apply it on my face after washing it and I get a stinging sensation everytime.

how is the smell? Mine smells very old and dusty. Is this supposed to be the smell?

Mine did also. But it did work a bit better than others so I’m going to repurchase and hopefully that doesn’t smell old again. I’m thinking it’s possible during transporting it might have been effected by temperature.
