These actually worked really well for me when I had a pretty bad cough. They’re soothing, have a nice honey-lemon taste, and definitely helped take the edge off when my throat was irritated. I also really like the way they’re packaged—the little pouches are super convenient and easy to keep in a purse or pocket, which made it easy to have them with me throughout the day. That said, I did learn the hard way that you need to use them as intended. I was going through almost a whole pack a day because my cough was so bad, and after a couple of weeks my gums got pretty irritated and I had to stop using them for a bit. That was definitely on me for overdoing it, but it’s something to be aware of. Overall, they’re effective and taste good, and I would still keep these on hand—I’ll just be a little more mindful about how often I use them next time.

I have used Fisherman's Friend for a wile now, they are my preferred lozenge. If you haven't tried them yet, be forewarned they are powerful. These are not the nice sweet candy drops. Fisherman's Friend carry a healthy amount of Menthol. It only took a couple of lozenges to get used to it, but the menthol is strong. I have tried both the cherry and the honey-lemon, I prefer the latter. Honestly, I do not taste honey or lemon, but I enjoy the Menthol flavor. As far as their effectiveness; these guys work great. When I have a sore throat I take one or two and I am good for an hour or more. Unlike the sweet drop that taste great, but don't do much soothing. If you want a serious cough suppressant, pick these up. Plus they are sugar free and gluten free.

These are excellent! They taste better than the original and are still powerful and effective. Everyone in the school I work at was getting this awful lingering cough. I used 3 of these over 2 days and my cough was gone. There were so many in this package I have been giving them away and everyone has been so happy and thankful for it! And, wow, the halls in the school seem so quiet today! Like most of our teachers and coughing students are feeling better... maybe our parents and guardians shared the cough drops with them too! So happy these are sugar and gluten free as well! Will order again!

Best throat lozenge I have found Plus flavor is very nice , I have tried them all , I get this tickle in the back of my throat due to allergies this is the Only lozenge I have found that gives me any relief , have struggled with this tickle for thirty plus years ,found Fisherman's Friend about 10 years ago and have used it regularly whenever allergies flare up . The packaging is fantastic! I've even left in pocket and sent through wash accidently pouch was still sealed. I cannot thank Fishman's Friend enough. Follow directions on package

I had never heard of Fisherman’s Friend before going to urgent care one evening after experiencing a 2 week coughing spell. The doc there said it was a thing going around the Valley and lasts anywhere from 3-6 weeks. She said she takes Fisherman’s Friend for coughing for any reason- - dust, scratchy feeling, allergy. So I bought a bag of the Honey-Lemon and a bag of the Cherry. I’m not anywhere near a medical professional, so be sure to check with your doc. As a cough drop for me they work so well that I carry them to movies, outdoor concerts, traveling by plane, I found these to be exceptional!

This is probably one of the nastiest tasting drops but it does the job. It helped my sore throat and curbed the cough.

I use this just about anytime I feel a little sore throat or can’t breathe through my nose! It works fabulously! We actually shared this with a friend who was sick over the winter and he thought the taste was strong but he raved about the fact he can then breathe! We of course love the ingredients
