Can I wear mp3 player ear plugs under it without squashing them in my ears

I’m not sure I wear silicone ear plugs which are squashed flat. It would depend on how big they are. I don’t even wear earrings as the cap is a good fit.

What material / pad is protecting the ears?

Dear Customer thank you for your interest in our 3D Ear Protection Swim Cap. For your information, there is no additional pad in the swim cap. The cap is designed and produced with 3D technology (seamless moulding) with the "pockets" for the ears. These pockets protect the ears without pressing them - unlike other swim caps. Sincerely Vela Stellare / Lahtak team
