A5 Printer Paper
This is a good quality paper. I use it for printing out pages for my A5 journal. I have not had any problems with my Epson Inkjet printer jamming as a result of using this paper. Value is good for the money spent. I'm happy with this purchase. I would recommend this paper for anyone printing A5 pages.

Pleasant, Very Thin, Good for Fountain Pens
My goto budget blank paper for sketching and writing using my fountain pens. • Whiter than usual (fountain pen) notebook paper but not quite as white as standard printer paper • Extremely thin. This makes it great to travel with because the sheets don't take up that much space in my bag Fountain Pen Performance: • Overall, excellent resistance • Shows through (don't expect to use both sides) • No bleed through • No feathering • Decent sheening • Quite smooth • Will wrinkle with heavy wetting • Will wrinkle with writing impressions Wrinkling isn't an issue, but it does mean that it naturally takes up a bit more space after its been written on (unless you compress/compact your pages).

Printed TN Inserts
I LOVE Stalogy paper, but I wanted to make my own smaller inserts for my TN. I also wanted to print a 4 mm grid on it. First of all, yes, my paper package was open. However, it shipped in a box and wasn't damaged at all. I think the thin, washi style tape used to close the ream just isn't super strong. Upon removing a sheet of paper, I was impressed with how thin it was. It really felt like my Stalogy paper! Maybe a hair thicker, but very comparable. I put the paper in my printer and held my breath. It printed like a dream! Double sided, even! I quickly put it together into an insert. The color is a nice white, which I prefer so I don't have to buy fancy cream colored correction tape. It is SO SMOOTH to write on! I mainly use gel pens and while there is some ghosting, bleed through is minimal. MOST of my fountain pens did not bleed through, but a few jucier inks did show a few dots of bleeding through the paper. I am very happy with this paper. Yes, it is more expensive, but the number of inserts I will be able to make will be a far greater savings in the long run and they will be exactly what I want.

A fountain pen friendly A4 paper
A fountain pen friendly A4 paper. If you like writing with a wet nib - either a broad or a flex nib, this paper can handle the ink. Still manufactured as if writing with a pen matters.

Decent paper for fountain pens but not for me
I bought this since as a fountain pen user, I need better than average printer paper to avoid my writing feathering out from my lines. I've tried the Kokuyo A5 size notebooks and was pleased. This 8.5 x 11 printer paper is not the same as that in their A5 notebooks. Is it better than regular old printer paper? Yes. Will it replace what I'm using now? No. I am pleased with this overall, and it is priced well. I experienced no feathering, but a fair amount of ghosting and even some bleedthrough, which makes it a 'no' for my purposes. I also find it feels slightly lightweight, which I don't like. It isn't TR 52 light, but it is lighter than regular old printer paper.

Great paper, horrible packing by Amazon
If all you’ve ever known is American copier paper, this will be a breath of fresh air. … As long as you don’t mind paying for it. Ever so slightly thinner than normal copier paper (0.09 mm vs 0.1 mm) but much smoother. Has a wonderful feel to it. I bought it because I love Japanese notebooks, and wanted to have the same handling experience when I printed stuff on my laser printer. This is pretty close. It’s not quite Maruman or the other premium notebook papers, but it’s very smooth and feels decidedly Japanese. However, compared to normal American copier paper, even so-called premium laser paper (which means heavier and brighter), it’s just sublime. It will arrive ripped open inside the Amazon package, as others have noted. I don’t know why Amazon can’t fix this. Only a couple of my sheets were wrinkled though. Update: the workaround for shoddy packaging is to order *two* reams. Too big and heavy for a paper bag, so they’ll come in a box. These arrived in perfect shape (see pic), in contrast to the single ream I ordered.

Nice idea, not good quality..
I like the idea that this already comes in A5 size but the paper is quite thin. It functions well if you have pages or so that would be best machine printed versus writing. Easy to use with the whole punch and fits in my planner with ease. I just wish the paper had more thickness to it, feels a bit cheap and the print quality is not that great surprisingly for this brand who I have purchased from before.

Watercolor works great on this paper
I LOVE this paper! I started using this paper to make my own A5 planner since my perfect-for-me planner didn’t exist. Paper prints easily off my cheap printer for my planner sheets and doesn’t clog the machine. I love how highlighters look vibrant and true to color on this paper too. The paper is slightly thicker than 52 gsm tomoe river paper but thinner than regular printer paper. If you love watercolor as much as I do, this paper works well, blends colors easily, layering is great, and can handle wetter paint (whereas the 52 gsm tomoe river paper dries too quickly and can’t do super wet water washes). There is no bleed thru of the watercolor paints. You will still see and feel some crinkling but not as bad as the tomoe river paper. I’ll add some blank pages in the back of my planner just for watercolor sketches. I think this paper is worth it!

It will do this.
Very good printing on both sides. Minimal print breakthrough. It is slick, clean, holds print ink well.. and a pleasure to touch. Highly recommend and it is doing what I want it to do....print a double sided booklet with 30 sheets, and reduced the bulkiness of a 22 lb paper pamphlet. A keeper.
