Macintosh Large Classic Jar Candle

I use to buy Yankee candles years ago. When I saw that they were still selling the Apple scented Macintosh candles I had to buy it. It smells like apples boiling for making homemade applesauce or baked apple pies, minus the vanilla-buttered crust. It is definitely one of my favorite Yankee candle scents. I love the way a room smells when the candle is burning. I also use the Macintosh room spray and fragrance oils. And the bonus is, you know you are getting quality products when you shop these long lasting Yankee Candles. The price was really budget friendly…I actually can’t believe how much I paid for it. I’ve bought no-name candles that didn’t even scent the room, for more. This candle is over 5 inches vertically and about 4 inches horizontally. I light my candle everyday to relieve the kitchen and dining room of the garlic and onion scents from making dinner. These last a long time, I light this candle everyday for 4-6 hours and it’s lasted me over a month and a quarter of the way down. This makes an amazing housewarming gift or just treat yourself. I just bought the black cherry candle for my son’s room. It will definitely lift the oder of an average teenage boy. I am very pleased with this purchase and have already signed up for the subscribe and save so that I never miss a day with this candle.

My entire home smelled like a delightful New England orchard the moment that I lit this candle. Which was much easier than actually cleaning the place. Whimsical! Thanks Yankee!

This melted a bit, so it wasn’t giftable. But it is okay for me, I was keeping it. It seems to be a softer wax than the other two jars I bought in different scents. But they all smell wonderful. This one was too messy to give away. The wax oil was leaked into the box and all over the glass lid. I tried cleaning the lid, but it was too messy and threw it out. The candle itself is still good, I could wash the outside off okay enough. If you are buying a gift, try another scent. Otherwise if it’s just for your own use, this one smells like real apples. Lovely red colour too. Thank you.

Bought this Black Friday week. Ive been put off buying Yankees in the last year due to the lack of throw,and have been buying Bath & Body Works instead but couldnt resist this or Balsam & Cedar as BBW have nothing quite like them. I burnt this as soon as it arrived., no its not as strong as when i first started buying them in 2013 but it wasnt as weak as some of the latest offerings. One thing i have to say about Yankee is they always 'nail' the scents, this isn't your tart but mouth watering 'Granny Smith' also highly recommended,this is your crisp sweet mouth watering Mcintosh red juicy apple, with postage i paid just over £10 for the large jar and I'm just so sorry i didn't buy more but funds wouldn't allow. I'll just have to keep saving now till Black Friday week next year. Oh and by the way, it was bought from the amazon global website with an estimated delivery of 2-3 weeks and 6 days later i was sitting here when this and my two Balsam & Cedars were delivered. All i need now are my other favourite Yankees to be on offer. White Christmas, Sparkling Snow, Cherries on Snow, Honey Blossom and last but no means least my uplifting loves me loves me not. I think i'll always be a yankee girl at heart, i just wish they'd put the sake amount of fragrance oils right through the candle that they did years ago. If they did they'd probably find that all of their old yankee fanatic customers would come running back, we're not stupid we know when you've cut the amount of fragrance oils in a candle. Trying to maximise profit by cutting quality never works.
