Eastwood 2K Aerospray High Temperature Ceramic Engine Gloss Red Paint 12 oz

The spray nozzle lays the paint down smoothly and evenly, and the finish is incredibly durable. I used it on my Mark IV big‑block Chevy, and once it cured properly, the coating proved extremely tough. It resists fuel and chemicals far better than 1K paints, which can wrinkle or flake over time. If you want a true “one‑and‑done” engine paint job, this is the way to go. The final result is a deep, professional‑looking gloss with no uneven drying or patchiness. I highly recommend Eastwood’s 2K paints — the higher price is absolutely worth avoiding touch‑ups, failures, or having to pull the engine again just to repaint it. I was able to get full coverage with just one can and laid down three coats. If you plan on priming first, make sure to use Eastwood’s 2K primer — it pairs perfectly with their 2K engine paint and gives you the best adhesion and durability.

This is a two part paint so once you start to you it you have to use it all.

I painted my stabilizer bar on my truck for kicks. This was the perfect paint for that project.

Leveled out as advertised. Used on brake calipers. Looks great.

I used this to spray the aluminum cam cover on my engine. I used the matching Eastwood 2K high heat primer and had sanded, scrubbed, and cleaned the cover well before applying. I have several chips already, so I'm disappointed with that. I'll have to treat the cover with kid gloves. However. I'll say that the color coat went on very smooth and has a great gloss. Very simple paint to use and looks fantastic. I stored the paint and primer in the refrigerator after I painted my cam cover, and three days later I was still able to use the primer on a pair of steel mirrors. I top-coated with a 1K paint. So far that has held up very well. Nice to know the pot life can be extended by a bit if needed.
