Great for bigger folk!
This kayak is wonderful! I am 6'3 and 310lbs, this kayak goes right through light wake and is extremely sturdy! I am still too scared to stand up in it, but im sure if you are a little lighter than me you will have no problem. My gear weight is just some tackle boxes and 4 rods, no battery or motor.

Great kayak for plus size adventures
I recently purchased the Outlaw Precision Kayak, and I am absolutely thrilled with my experience! As a plus-size person, finding a kayak that offers both stability and comfort can be a struggle, but this kayak delivers on all fronts.**Stability**: Right from the first paddle, I felt secure and stable on the water. The wide design provides excellent balance, making it easy to maneuver without the fear of tipping over. I’ve used it on both calm lakes and some gentle rivers, and it handled beautifully in all conditions.**Comfort**: The seating in this kayak is fantastic! The padded seat provides ample support for longer outings, which is a significant plus for someone who might need a little extra comfort. I appreciate that the seat is adjustable, allowing me to find the perfect position for my height and body type.**Space**: There’s plenty of room in the cockpit, making it comfortable to get in and out. Plus, I love the additional storage space for my gear. The bungee cords hold my essentials securely, which is essential for a day out on the water.**Performance**: The kayak glides smoothly through the water, and I noticed it tracks well even in windy conditions. This has made my paddling experience much more enjoyable, as I can focus on the scenery rather than struggling against the elements.**Overall**: The Outlaw Precision Kayak has exceeded my expectations for a plus-size-friendly option. It’s stable, comfortable, and performs exceptionally well. I highly recommend this kayak to anyone looking for a reliable and enjoyable paddling experience!

Satisfied, expectations met, and slightly exceeded.
The bad - 77 LBS and awkward to put up on a SUV roof by yourself. I am a large fellow (6'4", 280 lbs) so I can manage it after working out the proper technique. Only has TWO accessory rails and they are just forward of the seat, which means using after-market rod holders that mount on rails isn't a viable option. If you plan on using an oar to paddle, they will get in the way. I am also not thrilled the accessory rails double as carry handles because they are only held in with two screws. Seems like if they are to be a main point of carry, they could have redundant fasteners, to distribute the load across a larger surface area. Plastic is plastic, and you run the risk of it cracking if you get too rough while loading. The Great- 425 lbs capacity, and super stable. Plenty of room due to the open deck format. I can stretch my legs no problem. The seat is AWESOME and super comfortable. I have been on the water for 5-6 hours at a clip, with no after-effects. No sore back, or strained muscles. The Solo Ram Mount system works well, and there are three spots to attach after-market items like rod holder, GPS holder, phone holder etc. (The RAM plastic ball mount is crazy expensive, ~$25 bucks for something that cost less than 2 bucks to produce). I find the front storage section inaccessible, because I am so large, I do not feel safe standing yet. Great storage space under the seat. The saddle bags (sold seperately) seem to get in my way when I'm rowing, time will tell if I keep using them, or just use the cavity they go in for pliers, hook remover, etc. This was delivered right to my open garage, for free by Amazon.

Great value and stability for the price!!!
This Kayak is exactly what I was looking for. The stability is excellent and with the accessories such as the side bags, and splash crate it is perfect. You will be hard pressed to find this good of a Kayak at this price point. Very pleased with this purchase!!!

Light Weight, Quality Materials, Perfect Size
Quality product! I've had for a while now at this point. I installed a fish finder. That would be the only improvement I would recommend is SONAR/GPS unit mounting. There isn't a dedicated mounting spot for the head units, but does have a dedicated spot for the SONAR transducer. I do see the challenge in dedicating a mounting spot that would work for everyone since everyone is different size, different "handed" etc so I gave the 5 stars

Damaged on Arrival & Pelican's "Elite After Sales Service" is a Joke
My 14-year-old son spent $900 of his hard-earned money on this kayak, only for it to arrive damaged. It was shipped with absolutely no protection or crating—just wrapped in a single thin sheet of plastic. We are forced to settle for a damaged item in "used condition" because shipping took nearly a month, and our northern summers are too short to wait for a replacement. Perception Kayaks (Pelican) customer service was zero help, showed no empathy, and just passed the buck to Amazon. "Elite After-Sales Service?" Not a chance.

Best Kayak for Lazy River.
I honestly don't fish and kayak for sport and to relax on the river with the family and friends. I have own this for about a year. Bought this for the stability and amount of room on the deck. The Outlaw is not made for speed but it's comfortable for all day use. I am 200lbs farm girl and it paddles just fine for me. {My theory is if you can't load your own kayak, you don't bitch about how slow it is. She can move if you got the strength.} Can stand up and even paddle down the river while doing so. I didn't have any problems turning and handle well with slightly fast but hardly called a class 2 water. I had alot of questions ask about this water craft and where I purchased it. I would feel comfortable taking this kayak on overnight trips and camp on the river bank with my gear. It's very very very hard to even try to tip this vessel. There was nothing I needed to really add to this but I did purchase YakAttack RotoGrip Paddle Holder.
